Fun game. I like it. simple and addicting. Only negative thing "for me" is chewing sound. I have misophonia and it is unbearable for me.

Best $9.99 I've spent in a long time. More fun than when I watched my little sister wrestle greased hogs.

WTF am I missing? Why is this ratted so well? This is not a game, its a tech demo. Hell, I have played demos with more content then this. This is so simplistic and dull that I want to just turn the guns on my own character just to get it over with. There is zero depth to this game. It's so dull it feels like it was put together in a weekend at a hack-a-thon. Unless there is some explosive amount of content that is revealed a few hours into the game, this is not worth $0.99. There are $0.99 games on iPhones that have more work put into them then this thing does... Seriously, WTF!!??

Update: Told ya this game wouldn't go anywhere Game has a lot of potential, but unfortunately the Dev doesn't listen and is ready to kill his own game--it's like gamers become developers to make a game they would like to play, but then somewhere along the way, they forget they were gamers and totally botch the development. There' s no content, everything is too easy to obtain, and there's no reason to replay it. This has a very short game life and is most likely to fall apart faster, unless several things are fixed and added. But Idc, it's not my game dev is ignorant so no I can't recommend this.

Was really hyped up for this game, and that probably contributed to my disappointment. The game is just one map that you go around killing zombies and looting stuff to no end. Previous games had levels and you could actually finish the game iirc. This feel like a dollar store black ops zombies, with none of the things that made it interesting. Wanted to love the games, but couldn't. Got bored after two rounds in. There's no option for local coop either, so that another downside. Aside from the above, it looks good, and I faced no bugs.

This needs way more content. The animations and graphics are clean. The battle gameplay is clean. The gameplay loop itself is maybe 20 seconds long. Rinse, repeat. Not worth $10, Needs way more work, more content more bosses. The game needs new fresh/original stronger mobs, not just making mobs a purple aura to make them elite. All cheap tricks to deliver less and less content and make a quick buck. The truth is after 2 runs you have pretty much played the whole game.

Played the mobile version to kill time in school back in 2010, and i play this today to kill time during work. Runs fantastic on deck also.

This game makes you feel exactly like Chief Keef in New Jersey. It is truly a masterpiece, created by a human genius. Thank you Mika Mobile, aka Mika Gaming, for this god-tier game out of nowhere. Zombieville 2 and PUBG mobile were my go-to mobile games. I never expected a sequel, least of all, one that made the jump to PC and 3D. The game's aesthetic is exactly as it should be. That smooth jazz is never going to get old. Aside from some occasional physics objects launching zombies at you and some occasionally punishing spawns, this game is perfect. It's been great to play co-op with friends. In some ways, it reminds me of the COD: Black Ops Zombie Arcade mode, a peak couch co-op experience. Game of the year, every year, any year. Tell your friends!

Ran through suburban streets, blasting zombies with a flamethrower in one hand and a chainsaw in the other. Fun for a while, but once you’ve shot enough undead, it gets a bit repetitive. Still, a solid arcade romp—just don’t expect it to last forever. 7/10, zombies never stood a chance. 🔫💀 Follow my curator page for more undead mayhem, endless weaponry, and games that are mostly fun... until they’re not! 🔫🎮 https://store.steampowered.com/curator/42602807-Osiris-Reviews/

Suffers from the same thing basically every game with melee weapons does. There is literally ZERO reason to use/buff them. There is ONLY a reward if you buff them. The range and speed is so poor, that you will be getting hit. So, you will be dying early for little reward. I'm 2 hours in, but that's a GLARING issue as I entered the game with that in mind. That was the thing I was wanting to test and it completely fails. Every thing else is actually pretty entertaining. However (and this is a massive however), you start with a single shot/mouse click pistol. This is going to destroy your mouse. I'm probably done with it after tonight. These are the only 2 issues I have, but I don't want to destroy a $100 mouse for an $8 game. Dev, you have to just auto fire everything. I'm sorry if that doesn't fit your narrative, but that HAS to happen.

There is absolutely no depth to this game. Just download the demo and you have 99% of the what the full game has to offer. Don't be fooled by the reviews as a lot of people are marking it as positive due to nostalgia from the old game. Save your money and your time. I wouldn't even play it if were free.

Reminds me of a mobile game, but without the cash shop. At least it has that going for it, but nothing but a boring grind. Every upgrade and weapon is exponentially more expensive with each new upgrade or purchase. It's just boring after a couple runs.

Zombieville is such an awesome blast from the past, sadly the only content in this game is leveling up your perks which I finished a while ago. Currently there is one map with one objective, survive... Im hopeful and would be happy to change this review if progress is made. Gameplay and visuals are outstanding.

I wanted to like this, but holy canoli... this game wants you to play it one specific way and if you don't want to, you can go pound sand. The first two save games were completely wasted trying to enjoy my playthrough by using a melee build, then an explosives/elemental build. Nope. The game doesn't like that. I thought progression was monumentally slow, but then I randomly bought some weapons with two other types (shotgun/pistol/automatic) and respec'd to increase damage in those types. The melee range is way too short to be viable. Even with the perks to boost them, the first three weapon types I was drawn to are completely pointless. What a disappointment. EDIT: After a brief period of "playing it right" by exploiting the game's mechanics, I reached 100% achievements with a new save in fairly short order, and I can honestly say that this game is really annoying. Locating the 40 purple coins was agony. The irony of my first review is that the best late-game weapons are melee/elemental, but it takes so long to get them that you really shouldn't focus on those weapon types until the end... even though low level versions of those types are available AND necessary for using to unlock the more powerful versions.

Feels like I'm back playing an Xbox 360 Live Arcade game. There is a lot of charm and love to this game. It's also very addicting! I got this maybe 2 weeks after release and in its current state, there are some bug fixes and QOL that could be added. I believe the creator is a solo dev, even still, the game is really polished. I will say I haven't tried coop yet. My biggest QOL change that I have seen others also bring up is customizing the keybindings. Its a bit incontinent but it still find it enjoyable to play. There is only one map as of now, and 5 zombie types. It does have a lot of weapons and upgrades though. For $10, I would certainly say I got my moneys worth. I still would like to see more added to this game for more variety. I might buy $5 worth of DLC not for just a new map but extra everything. Considering it might be a solo dev again, I'm not sure where this game might go and what amount of work it requires to do so. I really like this game and hope it grows in a sincere direction.

its a mobil game, it plays fine with controller. it doesnt with keyboard and mouse. i am pretty sure the developer does NEVER play with k&m, cause the controlls are unlogically and not customizeable. imo also totally overpriced for the content. ipadnation. if they drop the price for 95% i would recommend it. tl;dr: bad pc port

Is it fun? Yes. For what it is it's quite polished but that's the problem, it isn't anything. There's no content. It's just a grind for upgrades. The different characters you unlock are just skins with no skillsets. Needs a LOT of work to be worth your money.

Like other reviewers have said. Starting with positives: The game plays really well, The art is great and works, guns feel good. I like the different characters, haven't even tried multiplayer yet but assuming it will be fun with a friend. Cons: overpriced for what it is currently. Would feel totally justified in the purchase if it was around 5 bucks, but at 10 it's steep for a "high score" arcade style bullet hell shooter with meta progression that is there to essentially pad time played. I'm addicted! But not for long. Just a sucker for getting all the "upgrades", like other reviews have stated, this are mainly just stat buffs to kind of artificially inflate playtime. I can honesty see myself quitting and never picking it back up once I unlock everything and get all the upgrades. It doesn't have that "one more run" vibe without the meta progression, this is its biggest flaw. As pointed out by others, would love to see different characters have unique character passives/perks, A mode that is rougelite would be really cool with a friend, between levels you strategize on upgrades and starting weapons and such. I think the game would work better if it was level based like similar games such as "Brotato", You get weapons and upgrades in a level and after levels, they carry over to the next level which is more of a challenge, your build slowly starts to form, and you made good decisions with good RNG or you fall behind and get overrun. The game would benefit from something like that greatly. I think loose rougelike elements and kind of converting the gameplay to rougelite would make the game much more enjoyable. TLDR suggestion: rougelike elements with meta progression in character progress, make a "build" for a character with various perks and upgrades (as well as unique character passive to each character model). Then rougelite style gameplay loop once you hop in a game solo or with a friend, in levels collect guns, upgrade characters/guns between levels by getting various "offered" upgrades (these wouldn't be purchasable, maybe an intense sprint skill on a cooldown that tackles zombies when you move through them damaging/killing them, maybe a revive for yourself or a teamate etc stuff like that.... Then! with the money you collect in a level upgrade stuff further while progressing, think more stat type stuff outside of game modifying perk type choices at the end of a level. This would add so much more replayability. Game suffers from feeling to samey every run, need some sort of "builds" to focus on and try to pull off IMO. edit: so after getting all the upgrades (working on last few) it's worse than I thought. Late-game consists of picking the mageblade and standing in a corner holding the attack button if you actually want to collect enough money in your lifetime to get all the gun upgrades... which are pointless anway though because every gun other than the mageblade sucks at level 40+, I am quite literally laying my phone on the mouse after getting in a corner, and periodically checking back to collect the money on the ground. I doubt it will be turned into a more traditional bullet hell rougelite but it has great potential, it's systems are good but not cohesive enough to be a good game, and the balance is wack.
