Fun game. But very soon you realize that most players developed 4th stage brainrot through watching Blue Lock and would run with the ball across the entire field solo, while unleashing their egoism fully with a perfect pass into the enemy goalkeeper's hands, rather than to you. Also, constant crashes and disconnects need fixing ASAP. Still fun to play with friends though.

Very fun game except that teammates always think they're prime Ronaldo trying to dribble off 1v3 because passing is for losers, go for shots being 40m away from the goal resulting in wasted possession and the enemy counter attack, spam "Good Job!" whenever you make a mistake because they never do, get the most luckiest shots but whenever I go for a goal the enemy's gk becomes prime Gagamaru, don't defend at all and mark the enemy's gk waiting for a pass leaving the defense to me, score own-goals if you don't pass them the ball as soon as you get it and have I mentioned never passing and going for most obvious shots basically giving a pass to the enemy gk. In conclusion, very good game

Fun game that really highlights the stupidity and selfishness of the average person. They all think they're Ronaldo Messi Drogba or whatever the fuck and are allergic to the concept of "passing", much like myself when I haven't shaved on a Monday morning.

I ask for pass. Teammate looks at me shoots the ball and no goal.

13h within 2 days, I think that says it all. Easy to learn hard to master. Super competitive. Rocket League but with people and no flying. Their Netcode is ... well not so good though (the ball can teleport on the field), but I hope they will fix that soon. The game also shows you how many people never played football IRL and have never heard about the concept of Passing.

Charging a box price and then instantly having expensive cosmetics to purchase is a joke, if you want to include battle passes and cosmetic from the start i would suggest F2P. This game needs numbers and it seems like your trying your best to stick a big fat wall in front of success. be real,

A disaster.

This game is riddled with bugs, broken netcode, and somehow has the audacity to charge $25–$50 and slap on a battle pass. For what, exactly? It feels more like a paid beta than a real release. Right now, this is a mess, and asking players to pay for the privilege of testing it is just a joke. Hard pass until they get their act together.

Let's start with the bad. One thing that's immediately noticeable, are the people who think they are in Bluelock. No Jeremy, you aren't an egoist, pass the ball. Make sure all your friends are playing on the same console or PC, if not, you won't be able to play with them. For now, there isn't any cross play, inhibiting some players from connecting with their friends. There are at times connection issues that either make the game unplayable, or kick you out entirely. This rarely happens, but when it does, it sucks. The beginning tutorial doesn't really teach you much about how to play. Yeah, it teaches you some core basics, but for the first hour of the game I didn't know guard the ball. The ranked game mode only has 5v5. I personally love 4v4s the most, but I hate that one game I'll get the best tm8s ever, then the next they act like that one gumball picture. Because there isn't an option for 4v4 ranked, that's just always going to be an issue. Lets move on to the good. You have four game modes: 3v3, 4v4, 5v5, and ranked 5v5, to play from. It allows almost any player to choose how they want to play. The controls are really nice. You can do some insane dribbles on your enemies and get past their defenses. The way you aim the ball is also very nice, with one stick for the general direction, and the other to curve the shot. The passing can be tricky to learn, but once mastered, you can do crazy passing plays that will destroy the enemy. The community is overall very nice to each other; at least in my experience. If you mess up, you won't get shunned, but actually assured. I've only ran into a couple toxic players; they were all horrible, but it isn't too bad. The customization options are surprisingly wide. Tops, under-shirts, gloves, hats, socks, shoes, prosthetics, jewelry for some many different areas, make up and markings, face shape, body shape and type, color of skin and other objects, voice options, and more. In my experience, the queue time is very fast, I don't have to wait any longer than about 30 seconds to find and join a match. There are some rare occasions where it can take minutes on end, but that happened only once to me. There hasn't been a game where I've felt this good in a while. There is a certain feeling of scoring a shot from a crazy passing play seven minutes into OT. A feeling of saving the ball twice or even three times in a row. Faking out an opponent and getting a passing assist. It's amazing. The only other football game I've played, is Rocket League, and they do football good and unique, but I can't lie, this game might be my next game I grind over RL. I believe that the game is definitely worth the $30. For those of you interested in the game, I do recommend it to you, but be warned; the game is extremely challenging. I can't express this hard enough. DO NOT, go into the game thinking you are like prime Ronaldo, because you aren't. Please for the love of god, pass the ball. I know I probably missed some things in both the good and bad sections, but please take this review into account when thinking of buying the game.

I don't usually do reviews because I'm not often addicted and passionate about games. This game has great potential and the idea was something I was expecting to be a hit eventually. Really enjoyed the playtest throughout alpha and beta but releasing this game as a full version is beyond disgraceful. Don't get me wrong, I love this game, already put 20 hours in 2 days but the audacity of asking for 25 euros is disrespectful. The game is far from finished with constant crashes and bugs in every corner. Sadly for me the 2 day of smooth gameplay came to an end as I am not able to play anymore having constant crashes even though I have tried numerous solutions listed either from the dev team or other players. I won't refund since I really believe in this project and I am sure it will find success. But boy... Balenciaga collab and Ronaldinho collab before even fixing your major KNOWN issues that thousands of people have since beta is just crazy. Hope Sloclap managerial team wakes up and wipes their eyes from the moneyfog and urgently start addressing the issues that shouldn't ever exist in a full release game. I've played countless games in beta/alpha/early access and I can tell you for a fact that this game is nothing more and maybe even worse than many other early access games. But it's alright, my character is still dripped out with his Balenciaga Cap equipped even though I can't play properly.

Another great promise ruined entirely by the community. Gameplay itself is great and I have only encountered one bug so far, but none of it matters if everyone is selfish and don't pass to you at all or your goalkeeper runs across the whole map just to try to score a goal for themselves instead of waiting their turn and playing like it's meant to be played. Literal braindead monkeys. Play this game with friends or don't play it at all.

Let me start off by saying the game is alright, it mostly the other players that drive me to literal insanity. They beg and beg and beg to have the ball passed to them. So I do it, out of the kindness of my heart. and what I get in return is probably one of the most downright horrendous, abysmal dogshit shots on goal I have ever seen in my entire existence on planet earth. Now that's not really time, roughly 25 years. It really all started to go down hill on my 12th birthday when I got an Xbox 360. While I love playing it on summer nights and school nights after finishing my very difficult math homework. (I failed algebra 3 times) but I would get on the game and play some Modern Warfare 2 search and destroy. You're all probably wondering what any of this has to do with the soccer game known as "Rematch". Stick with me now, I'm slowly but surely getting there. The major landslide in this downfall was when I got my first gaming PC. I would play games like Rust which would be beat me down into a pulp because of Chinese Zergs, and roof campers. Now I decided lets try some more calm and relaxing games that arent as focused on PVP like Stardew Valley, and Balatro. So while I was browsing the new games last week I saw Rematch! While being a big fan of Soccer and Rocket League, I said "lets give this a try". Now that bring us to here. The ranked 5v5 teammates literally make me want to pull my hair out, meanwhile the game is crashing and wont let me launch. Im currently fixing it. and will continue to play this. 10/10 would reccomend I suppose.

Who would have thought that Rocket League without cars would be so much fun, apart from little glitches its a fun game.

Some players think they are prime messi and try to dribble the whole team instead of passing.I'm begging you if you see someone who doesn't pass the ball just don't pass to them anymore, play with the other teammate (considering that one passes) but not with those players, maybe they'll change their gamestyle. Besides that game is pretty good, some bugs here and there, but overall decent if you like football.

Fun, but fundamentally broken at a basic level. Laggy, buggy, desync issues, janky ass controls, the game locks you off the ball constantly, and has somehow attracted the worst player base. Everyone is that pro clubs players that just spam calls for the ball and then never passes to anyone. Everyone thinks they're a blue lock character and has to go solo and lose the ball 10/10 times. I'm stood in wide open space and people just decide to go 1vX and lose the ball for no reason instead of passing EVERY SINGLE TIME.

literally low tier game with low tier players in it

It's pretty damn good. It's a shame that the netcode isn't what it should be, but maybe they'll update it later. Please take a page out of Valve's Netcode in Dota2, TF2, CS2, or Deadlock. THAT is what it's supposed to be.

I have never enjoyed football, not in real life, not in games, never. REMATCH has changed that. I played all I could over the playtests and I'm so happy its out. Please dont let this fail.
