SAEKO: Giantess Dating SimSAEKO: Giantess Dating Sim
Saeko is perfect in every way like me. It does not matter if she is a crazy woman, she's hot. Very good game. I streamed this on twitch and my chat loved it because I am also named Saeko. Now they want me to crush them alive, thanks a lot.

the main good things about this are the pixel art style, and the compositions. they're very much in line with everything the game is going for, and are what made me play this all the way through. there's a definite sense of vision with this game, and with more time i really do think this dev team could make something truly wonderful and moving down the line. however, there were so many glaring issues that i ran into while playing this, and they are sown into the foundational elements of this game, ruining any chance of me enjoying it. any time you try to express a single shred of free will this game filters every choice very plainly and obviously, to the point of outright telling you exactly what option the single choice you have is. if you don't follow it, it's a game over, and you'll go right back to what that choice was in the first place. majority of the characters, including saeko, are extremely unlikable. they walk all over you emotionally, they use you in way they can, all while feeling more like caricatures than fleshed out chracters (although due to the nature of the game, i can understand how fleshing them out more would be an issue). the actual character stats that appear can hardly be effected without it resulting in an immediate game over (again filtering your choices into an extremely narrow range). the story attempts to speak on how cycles of pain being cast down on people can shape them and change who they are fundamentally, and it partially succeeds, but at the same time, there is no real choice in the matter, all you can do is seek revenge in the end, enabling this cycle of hurt, living out the same hurt put upon you, even after acknowledging how what was brought upon you caused immense anguish, and disgust in these actions. i was mad the entire time playing this, and i dont recommend it unless you like being a submissive pushover, and being bullied out of expressing any opinion that goes against this big woman's fragile ego.

Cannot recommend. Although it's a decent enough premise and story, it's not actually a dating sim, it's more like a short visual novel. You don't get to date the giantess. You do not get to @#$% the giantess. Also, she's not actually a giantess, you've been shrunken. So it's not a dating sim. She's not a giantess. Also, it's really really obvious the artwork got censored in production. Every time the scene plays where she opens the drawer, you can see her wearing a black top that shows off her tits, but in the next frame it switches to the purple dress which shows off her tits a lot less. So this would be better renamed as something like SAEKO: Shrunken horror VN - censored edition.

I played this with my friends watching and we were split between people who loved the giantess lady and the people who wanted to use the iPod as an IED.

SAEKO: Giantess Dating Sim is a stunning work that makes you go through a roller coaster of emotions that I haven't experienced with any other game. The unique visuals, story, and music all work together to bring an otherworldly, terrifying, and sometimes humorous experience that at certain points shocked me greatly. It may be based on size fetish works and has some explicit dialogue at times, but at its core it's a character-driven psychological horror game that had me invested the whole time I was playing it. To give some criticism, I would say there are some slight flaws with the game. The "Health" and "Appeal" system can be a bit shallow and taking care of your fellow drawer-mates doesn't lead to as much choice variety as I would expect based on the demo, but there are multiple endings and different character interactions depending on the choices you *can* make, particularly on certain days with big dividing decisions. The scope can feel a bit bit limited at times, but you will feel the consequences of your choices and actions, and the game focuses on those to its benefit. This is especially noticeable on repeat playthroughs and by trying out different options. You will discover new things about characters, or even slight details changing based on your actions. It's the little things that show the charm and care put into the game. On the subject of detail, one particular thing I love about this title is that the game makes you feel small and vulnerable. Saeko doing so much as tapping her fingers on her desk, pressing a button on her phone or going to drink from her mug all add this unbelievable sense of scale to remind you that you are completely at her mercy. I mentioned before that this isn't really focused on the fetishistic side of things, but there are moments that really showcase the power imbalance between Rin and Saeko, and I'm all here for it. Overall I think the developers have created a wholly unique game that will elicit emotions few other games can. SAEKO is rather short, about 3-4 hours long and about 5 hours if you want to 100% everything, but the price for the game is more than justified given the experience. I can't recommend this title enough. I'm not very good with words and I've had to edit this review a few times to get my scattered feelings about this game in order, but I hope you'll consider trying it out. It's not for everyone, but nothing else can offer the same experience. Kina is best girl.

I think people misinterpret this game. This is due to the fetish kernel at the center and the marketing (dating sim). It plays more like a visual novel, and has some small choices you can make to get different endings. It is well-written and the art is fantastic. This is a game about memory and ethics. Saeko asks the question: "can a person really change?" which is not really the sort of question someone wants to ask while jorking it. This isn't a fetish game, though it does have obvious fetish elements. This is a well-written story with heavy emotional resonance. If you're looking to goon this isn't your thing, and if you're upset by the lack of agency then perhaps being a tiny isn't for you. If you're into character-driven drama with an erotic twist in a small package, this is your kinda thing!

Phew, this is an intense game, in the physiological sense. Finished my first run minutes before writing this review and while I wanted to get the other endings, I honestly needed a break. Saeko is a Visual Novel that follows the tradition of many gacha games these days by luring you in with an attractive women (and in this case, the addition of a fetish) and ambushing you with deep writing. And make no mistake, it is a VN. The demo suggests that the Appeal and Health system will be more dynamic in the full game then it actually is, but in truth it's much more limited then it looks, more on that later. First, the positives. As mentioned, it's an intense game that if for its rather short length would be hard to finish in a single sitting. You play the unfortunate role of supervisor of the abductees, choosing who Saeko will eat that day. It's an easy enough task at first when there are plenty of characters you might not care for to choose from, but soon enough you'll be trying to decide between characters you do like, it those decisions hit hard. Saeko herself brings this same intensity. While she might hit your "I can fix her" buttons, or even your "Her brokenness is why I like her" buttons, she makes you feel unsafe in every interaction with her. Throughout the game, you will have multiple conversations with her, and you need to watch yourself constantly. Talk too much? Dead. Talk too little? Dead. Answer in ways she doesn't like? Dead. And the game has a brief animation of her hand enveloping your screen followed by red, which after a couple of times will have you feeling like you're talking to someone with a gun to your head, which isn't far from the truth. Oh and on top of all that? You do not have infinite time to respond to her words, so you better think fast! The game also has some incredible pixel art, which is always welcome. Now, some negatives. As mentioned, this is more of a Visual Novel then a full video game. You do have choices in the Appeal and Health system, but those choices basically the same as any multi choice system in any other VN, as any choice other then the ones the game lays out for you is an instant game over. It's also a rather short game, capable of being completed in about 2-4 hours depending on how good you are at navigating conversations with Saeko. (Your millage may vary. I felt that the length was just right, but you may have wanted more from a $15 Visual Novel) Speaking of, while the game does give you a speed up button for those conversations, failing them multiple times and having to reach back where you left of can become a bit tedious. Now, the endings. I've only gotten one so far, but from what it seems like and what I've heard, the ending you get is mostly determined by the final choices you make in the last days of the VN, which is both good and bad in my opionon. Good in that it doesn't take too long to see the alternative content, and bad that your choices earlier don't matter that much. But hey, there is an ending where Seako becomes a real giantess for those who came for that, you degenerates! Not that I'm one to talk though, the primary reason I got this was the "Giantess Dating Sim" part. Finally, would I recommend this? Yes.... With some caveats. As mentioned, this is an intense game that deals with heavy subject matters. I'm no stranger to that, but the game's atmosphere and story telling had me needing to take a break before trying to other routes. It's also relatively niche, so if everything here on the store page or in the demo failed to intrigue you, you probably won't miss much skipping the game. As for everyone else? It's amazing and I cannot recommend it enough to those of you interested. Also, shout out to Safe Havn for including a demo! Not nearly enough developers do this and I'll always be thankful to those who do!

At night, immerse yourself in the whims of a psycopath. During the day, be trapped in a drawer with no choice for god knows how long until she returns. This is my first dating sim, I was NOT ready for this 💀😭. This is so one-sided you're not dating her, you're SURVIVING her 🙏. She is not the woman your mother warned you about, she is the woman REDDIT warned you about. Basically, it's peak

Saeko is an amazing character, I want a girlfriend that can manipulate the size of herself and everyone else on her whim. Only finished the Genocide ending so far but I gotta say, it's hot.

It's basically Oyayubihime: The Game (even Saeko's name stayed the same). That being said, I got bricked and fell for Saeko all over again. 5/5 game Also thank you devs for giving a free demo so I could make sure my 10 year-old laptop with integrated graphics could run this fine before buying the full game.

Its got a cool art style and premise but does not execute well on the game or story well at all. The sections where you have to pick the correct answer is extremely frustrating and boring. I would pick an answer that I thought would progress the story only to get reset and have to start over again. Game just isn't exactly what I thought it would be not my cup of tea.

It was an interesting take on the giantess trope. Art style is nice too. But this is not a dating sim. This is just stockholm/lima syndrome. This is not the giantess dating game you are looking for.

I like it except it has a giant girl in it and i'm not really a fan of giant girls cause they're scary cause they're giant (but regular sized girls are okay for me, personally). but everything else in the game except that was really wholesome.

i was hoping this would be a dating sim. its honestly not. the only choices you can make are characters who die. any, and i mean ANY, choice you make gets you killed. i wont return the game, but i'll just uninstall it and watch someone else play it.
