Great experience, can't recommend enough! I logged in, beautiful splash screen, followed by logo's. It's so good. I've been playing "Server under maintenance", for the last 7mins, and i think i finally beat it. 10/10 would login again.

This is the perfect example of how NOT to launch a game in the Western Part of the world........ Why not simply match the Steam release with our appropriate server times? A complete fail so far!@

You want to play this? Actually waited till the server launch/started a bit late? Don't bother. They don't need any extra players apparently as you might randomly get banned simply while following tutorial - LOL. Be careful about plundering T2 outpost as mobs can get their feelings hurt in this game it seems. - https://i.imgur.com/Dfcvnvn.png

You cannot have multiple characters over different servers. I started on the Chinese sever on game launch to test things out and learn how the game works before my main server comes online, which will be NA. When the EU server launched, I figured I'd test if you can play on multiple servers. You cannot. This means I will have to delete my character on the Chinese server to play on the NA server, but I wanted to keep it for experimentation. I've already put like 7 hours into it, so it's ridiculous that I have to delete it. Allowing only one character in the whole game anywhere is lame.

There was a beta in may where i spent over 450 hours playing this game non-stop. Massive PVP, you can either chose to play during wartimes with your guild in 100 vs 100 battles, full of adrenaline, with multiple fights around the map, or play in small scale with different fights, gank players, do 15v15, 10v15, 20v30 or just keep gathering people around to fight in enemies territories. The game has pve farm, but why would you farm chest while you can farm the people that are taking the chest. It has a loot system where if you die, you lose part of your loot, which also feels rewarding when you kill a guy who didnt recall with his full badges. There is also a crafting system, an upgrade system, and a tech system. So even if you join the game late, you'll be able to catch up people limited by server cap limit, which increases daily. About the people pay to win, it doesn't work like that. You can't upgrade your weapons or drifters to +3, +6, +9, +12 without a specific item that has a rare spawn and needs to be farmed. You can do some pay to fast, but nothing else. In big scale the upgrades doesn't make much difference. It is a game worth trying, but always join the main server. Otherwise you will lose the fights and the main fun about the game, which is fighting other players and taking their loot. Have fun playing the game. See you in Starmarrow Edit: I bough the 50€ pack to support the game. Keep up the good work

says “Global Open Beta Begins!” yet every server except the Asian one is still not released.

I am an idiot for playing this instead of DOTA. Very easy to cheat your way in this. Countless bugs need to be fixed. And the shop... oh boy, it’s so predatory it makes EA look like a saint doing community service. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS!

So many playtests, yet they didn't learn anything. While the core gameplay feels alright, the game design, monetization and technical foundation are a single big failure. In short: - (well hidden) P2W - easy to hack, create bots and cheat - countless bugs and glitches - unresponsive (chinese?) developer, offering zero support beyond default template answers The P2W aspect and glitches go hand in hand. Starting from level 20 you can buy special items with real money. In the playtests the supply was very limited, as you couldn't buy the premium currency. Now you have an unlimited supply of the most absurd consumables and item combinations to break the entire game. The game was made with the Unity engine. You can open the game files with standard modding tools and directly inject own scripts or assets. There is no anti-cheat in place and the server doesn't check every single action, giving you basically source code level access. People used this to script their own bots or duping tools in playtests already. It was reported, but the developers ignored it because they can't fix it with the current technical foundation. Bugs and glitches still exist. You can still duplicate items, you can still go out of bounds, you can still make yourself invulnearable mid-fight. Everything is known and was reported during playtests on Discord, yet nothing was fixed. The developers simply don't care. You have like 20 of them on the official Discord server always online, but most of them don't seem to speak english and not a single one interacts with the community beyond template answers. Same goes for the support ticket system. Just look at the other Steam reviews pointing out similar issues: some low-level community manager goes through them, answers with a standard reply like "I'm sorry to hear that, your feedback is important to us!" and that's about it. It's pretty insane tbh. They had the funding, they keep asking for money like crazy (15.000$ packs on launch day?!), they have at least 20+ employees, yet not a single on of them knows anything about the basics of MMO development or cheat prevention? There are solo-developed MMOs from the early 2000s that have a better technical foundation, making this project look like a bad joke. They try to market it as a giant online battlefield with thousands of players, while enforcing a 200 player limit per map region at the same time (due to technical/server performance limitations). If this doesn't make it crystal clear to you that the foundation for their PvP concept is flawed, I don't know what else will. Maybe it works out in the long run if they convert it to PvE, who knows... But my guess is that the game won't be around for long after the initial hype is over. If the creators have zero dedication for their own project, it won't take long before the majority of players will follow their example.

Just wanted to know if it was pay to win and it is. Might be a good game, but this kind of monetization is predatory and ruins any kind of fun that could have been had

This game is a joke. It was released with the exact same exploits that were already present during beta, and nothing has been done to address them. Duplication glitches and other issues make the game completely unplayable and destroy any sense of fairness. To make matters worse, the developers launched a predatory cash shop with €250 packs right from the start. In their own comments, they try to defend these packs as “mainly cosmetic,” but that’s simply false. They include 30k solarbites, which after level 20 can be turned into Starfall Token chests, giving massive gameplay advantages and making the game blatantly p2w. Its crystal clear the priority here isnt the players or the quality of the game. Its squeezing as much money as possible. Until the rampant exploits, lack of security, and shameless monetization are addressed, this game doesnt deserve anyones trust, time, or money.

Unfinished game, no anticheat system, cheaters can use Cheat Engine from the very first test server, and nothing has been fixed for the beta release. The same item duplication exploits that existed before are still fully functional. The developers have clearly only focused on a P2W system, with founder packs up to €250, instead of actually making the game playable. They have mocked the players, failed at everything, and the game is a total disaster — broken mechanics, no security, and the only goal seems to be squeezing money from the community. A complete joke. On top of that, the developer is lying. Anyone can check that there is no anticheat running at all. They claim the founder packs are “cosmetics only,” but the Emperor Tier clearly gives you: 30,000 Solarbite — with that, starting from level 20, you can buy Starfall Token chests at the auction house, and with those Starfall Tokens you can purchase actual gear, just like you can directly with the Solarbite. This is straight P2W, no matter how much they try to disguise it. Don’t be fooled. Even essential things like proper sound effects are missing — for example, riding a mount has no sound at all, you only hear background music and little else. In short: dont believe what the developer says. The game is unfinished, unprotected, and built around pay-to-win packs instead of real gameplay.

Just not fun and couldn't even hold me past the tutorial. I was excited about the idea, but the second I got into the game it instantly felt like it was designed for mobile. It already had building timers and resource bottlenecks in the tutorial and I instantly lost any interest I had.

This game, when compared to other top-down MOBAS, RPG's ARPG's and even MMORPG's, is worse in every single way. Even games dating back to the late 90's control and play much better than this one. The sound design, skills, abilities, items, market, and interfaces are all absolutely terrible. This game has NO anti-cheat, and players are already using a multitude of hacks and cheats to completely ruin the game including: Speed hacks, noclip hacks (walk through anything), radar / esp hacks that show them players outside of normal view distance. Zoom hacks, cooldown reduction hacks, longer movement ability jumps than normal, item duplication, and more. ALL of this was addressed during the beta, and NONE of it was fixed for launch. Every single youtuber and twitch streamer you see HAWKING this game is getting paid $$$ to do so. Look for the "paid promotion" notification at the top left of a youtube video if you don't believe me. This company is Chinese, and very left-leaning. If you join their official discord you risk getting doxxed and harassed and flooded with gore and other unsightly images, because the discord is completely unmoderated and the devs openly allow mega clans and guilds to bully and belittle users on their server. If you're a solo player, this game is miserable. Clans and guilds have the power to make your experience absolutely awful, as they will steal open world objectives, loot, and even bully you out of zones. There are already cases of players being mass reported by these guilds to get them auto-banned to "free up space" in the zones to get their own guild members in. There's no real solo gameplay anyway, unlike other MMORPG's or games of a similar nature, being a solo player means you're just cannon fodder for the bombsquads, or coordinated groups of players in a discord that all press their big nuke ability buttons on a 5 second countdown so there's no way to heal or sustain through it, so that means as a regular player you'll constantly go from 100 to 0 hp with no counterplay or way to react, all from a bunch of people pre-teaming from stealth or off screen. The game has very little solo activity, pve activity, or things to grind for. While the game is free to play, you'll be so, so far behind if you don't pay for premium, and with the economy in shambles due to dupes and market manipulation, a solo player can never farm or acquire the resources to ever build wealth in the first place, and guilds / clans are notoriously greedy and force their members to pool resources to the "inner circle" of the guild where only the few get truly elite gear and resources. Now this review will show I only have 2 hours of play time, I've played far more than that, as I was one of the FIRST people in their social medias when they came to the West, as a youtuber I pledged myself to make content for this game (for free) as long as the devs treated me nice. The devs don't want, or care about solo players and while I am the biggest youtuber for their main rival game (and game they shamefully copied mind you), they ignored me once the mega clans came storming in their discord. Instead they throw thousands of dollars at streamers and youtubers 1/100th my size, making me question the business practices. Money laundering perhaps? Very odd behavior to ignore the largest content creator of your main rival game, yet toss thousands into the wind of small content creators with a fraction of a percentage of an audience compared to mine. At the end of the day, this is some weirdly funded Chinese Unity slop game that pisses away their money on small time creators with no actual audiences or viewerships and shamefully copies and possibly even steals assets from other similar Unity games. I strongly believe the devs have a bias against Americans as well, and that this game is nothing more than a quick cash grab that will fizzle out within two months time to a dead playerbase with only a handful of mega clans remaining. Because this company has deep pockets, keep a watchful eye on the reviews and use tools like SteamScout and Gamealytic to check the validity and country of origin of reviews.

Is not p2w is pay for convenience, but that doesnt matter cause the grind kinda ass no cap. So bad I downloaded foxhole just to quit that immediatly as well, I think is me, Im the problem twin. Anyways grind tremendously drags nuts bro, tf I be running around this barren wasteland and beat up the 3 same looking mobs for 2h? Good One bro, I feel like is gon be peak the moment you really get to the pvp side of things but building up your char feels /gen worse than questing in Loch Modan (ShoutOut Gng).

So far looks like a cash grab: pay to win currencies and mechanics. Gameplay is not deep, sound effects doesn't exist for some actions (riding mount), and in general it is clunky. Need to see if there are cheaters, this will be even worse. So far if I compare with Albion 5 years ago - game offers way less.

wow one of the most boring "MMORPGS" i have ever played... literally nothing to do other then grind for hours before you are allowed to do anything... kill the same 4 enemies, get invaded by others... woohooo... not sure what the game holds cause i couldn't reach the battlefield...thanks to me being unable to finish chapter 3... oh yeah right, this is not a RPG cause i do not ROLEPLAY! There is no story... so there can't be roleplay!
