Among Us 3DAmong Us 3D
Hi mods, devs, and the mighty algorithmic eye of ToxMod. I want to offer my sincere and humble apology for something that has been weighing heavily on me since it happened. During a recent game of Among Us 3D, I accidentally said the word “sh*t.” Just once. It wasn’t shouted, it wasn’t aimed at anyone, and honestly, it barely even had emotion behind it. It just… slipped out. Like an accidental vent press. One moment I was doing my tasks, the next I was muttering a forbidden word because someone jump-scared me in a hallway. I didn’t even finish the sentence. It just popped out like a bean in a blender and vanished into the air.. or so I thought. It was a tiny moment. No one in the lobby reacted. There was no chaos, no escalation, not even a “who said that?” But deep down, I knew. I knew ToxMod was probably there, silently listening, glowing red in some digital void, gripping its little clipboard like a disappointed school principal. I’m truly sorry. I’ve only played 30 minutes so far, but I was already starting to enjoy myself — walking around with my weird little hand, trying to swipe a card that apparently has the hitbox of a ghost, and doing tasks that feel suspiciously like unpaid internships. It’s buggy, it's weird, it barely runs on my PC… but I was into it. I was becoming one with the bean. And now I live in fear. I keep checking my profile like I’m waiting for a court summons. Will I wake up to a ban? Will I be forced to wander the Steam forums like a lost soul, telling others “enjoy it while it lasts”? I hope not. I respect the rules. I understand why moderation exists. I’m not trying to be edgy or toxic or cool. I’m just a guy who swore once because my heart jumped when Red turned the corner like a serial killer. Please. Let me atone. I will use only wholesome words from now on. I will shout “oh no!” or “crumpets!” or whatever else keeps ToxMod at bay. I’ll be a good crewmate. I’ll even pretend to enjoy the wiring task. I don’t want much. Just the chance to keep waddling around, doing my silly little chores, silently accusing the wrong person every round. Thank you for your time, and again.. I’m really, truly sorry.

It's good. I think that playing pubs kind of sucks though because half the players are either 3 years old, don't talk, or 3 years old and don't talk.

I wasn't 30 minutes deep into playing when i got banned during the tutorial. THE TUTORIAL because i wasn't muted and the game was picking up what i was saying to my friends in discord. It's honestly one of the funniest things as long as i get my refund

DO NOT tell people how to make napalm in voice chat. you will be banned. otherwise decent game tbh idk

Fun game but literally got banned in the first hour for voice chat. Yes i probably said something foul but keep in mind I was in a private game with friends. On top of this, you have to check so many guidelines before you play. (The most I have ever seen in a game). I am refunding simply because I was in a private game and they tracked my voice. Rubs me wrong.

No point in playing this game with friends, as the (recorded) voice chat will lead to all of your friends getting banned with no reports to anyone occuring. Outstanding product! I absolutely love paying 10 dollars for roblox TOS!

Ok so like this game is fun and all but like wow this is worse than yandere sim cause it crashes EVERY time someone leaves, and if the host leaves, the entire match gets thrown. this game seriously needs optimization cause why does this game need 8 giggle bites of RAM just to run smoothly

step 1: download the game step 2: go to your first ever lobby step 3: cyber bully children with voice chat step 4: continue the cycle

I accidentally said a curse word in my own private lobby, by myself, and got suspended for a day. They don't even let you play in your own private lobbies, you just banned from the game and you can't play anymore. I spent $8.70 including tax just to get restricted the game I bought.

Is the Third Dimension Sus-cessful?

Among Us 3D takes the classic 2D deception game and thrusts it into a 3D, sometimes VR, world. The core gameplay remains: Crewmates try to complete tasks and root out Impostors, while Impostors sabotage and kill. But does the change in perspective add to the experience, or is it just.... sus?

What I Liked

1) Immersive: The 3D environment adds a new layer of tension and paranoia. You really feel like you're on the Skeld II or Polus Point. The limited visibility makes Impostor lurking even more nerve-wracking. 2) Proximity Voice Chat: This is a game-changer. Hearing voices fade as players move away adds a realistic and engaging element to discussions (and accusations). No more relying solely on text chat! 3) New and Familiar Tasks: Some classic tasks return, reimagined in 3D, alongside new ones that take advantage of the environment. This keeps the gameplay fresh for veterans. 4) Cross-Platform Play: The fact that it supports crossplay with VR versions is a big plus.

Why I Recommend This Game:

The game offers a fresh and immersive take on a beloved social deduction game. The 3D perspective and proximity voice chat enhance the tension and excitement, making it a worthwhile experience for fans of the original. However, the potential for motion sickness, the learning curve, and the ever-present issue of community toxicity are factors to consider. If you're willing to adapt to the new perspective and can find a good group of players, Among Us 3D offers a compelling new way to sus out your friends. Bonus: Developers honored regional pricing, making the game much more affordable for players in different regions.

Worth Buying at Full Price!

If you have a vr, get vr edition. If you don't, just get among us it's cheaper and it has a bigger fanbase meaning no waiting 10 minutes to play a game where a 2 year old screams racist slurs down the mic. I couldn't even play 15 minutes before refunding it and getting it on my vr.

the people who play this game have cement in their brain(except the pink one), and its held together with glue and duct tape.

fun game, but microphones don't work on through proton on Linux, which takes away a core part of the experience. Would love to see this fixed
