Got to the end and it said the ending for my choices wasn't available yet, but would be available March 25th 2025... It's currently March 26th 2025. Honestly, it doesn't feel like your choices are ever remembered by the game. Multiple moments where the characters will act like you did something to them even if you haven't.

Devs have foolishly pulled the game from steam because a vocal minority of trolls was to much for them. The idea that this game would have any meaningful impact in terms of crime is ridiculous, its like saying schedule 1 is going to increase the number of drug dealers.

Read before you judge my thumbs up. This is a real review. After having beat the main story, I am going to sum up No Mercy, for those of you who haven't played it or are here for the reviews and the talks on tiktok. This is merely my take, but I can guarantee that it is extremely accurate in it's current state. "No Mercy" is a very emotional story, and not a good one. The Plot: - Your Dad is out on a business trip and you catch your Mom cheating on him. For the duration of the story as it stands at the time of removal, it is centered around blackmailing your Mom, by requesting and/or demanding s*xual favors from her to keep you from ruining her relationship with your Dad. Even though the story is rather linear, it is very psychologically difficult to get through if you are not used to this kind of story, and let's face it: No one really is. It was difficult for me, but I had to finish it to be able to save you all the time. Some facts about the game: - The title of the game is no joke, they mean it when they say "No Mercy". - The game is VERY dark, VERY off-putting, and VERY gut-wrenching. - This is definitely one of those "Shock value" titles, that you don't find often. - There are topics of r*pe/non-consensual s*x with one or more individuals throughout the game. - The game is (as it stands) focused around topics such as incest, domination, blackmailing, and betrayal. Whether or not this game comes back on Patreon or their own website with more updates that changes this, this is it right now. - Like the developer states, this is NOT your average love story. Your Mom is VERY resilient and in no way willing to do any of the things you make her do. She is never happy throughout the story, only more and more mortified by you and your actions, because, well, you are her son after all, she is supposed to love you. - The developers knew what they were making the whole time. The story and attention to detail is obvious. This means they knew they would get criticism and turn people's heads. I believe that was part of the plan, but not in the scale it escalated to. This is unfortunately one of the risks when making a game like this. - Tiktok blew this game out of proportion, and as much as this game is shocking, I do believe that this game got a little too much attention. This game should've stayed under the radar like most of the other titles out there. - There are similar games to this one out there, on Steam. Bad Memories & My New Memories are two examples. They lack most of the shock value this one pertains, but they do revolve around inc*st, which I feel is a driving factor that brought this game down. They focused TOO MUCH on the inc*st part of the game, and therefore caused a massive stir online and brought doom upon itself. -In conclusion, this game deserves some credibility for what it was. I can't really recommend this book, but I can acknowledge the effort and passion that was put into it. Pros: - Good storytelling - Good graphics - Good character design - Good use of the butterfly effect for a linear story. - Good story length for a full release. Cons: - Touchy topics such as r*pe, inc*st, domination, affairs, severe depression, anxiety. - Linear storyline, no choice to be good or bad, the choices you make cause little to no difference in the overall outcome. - Most of the characters lack any sort of background development, especially the people that interact with you and your Mom. I tried to enjoy this one; as there is good material buried within it - but there is a bunch of menu bugs, including soft locks (the last straw, that); plus bizarre inconsistency between an incomplete earn/purchase game-loop and a linear episodic narrative. Moreover, "achievements" in Adult Visual Novels are expected to be basic indicators to help the player determine which remaining branches to complete. Not some Xbox-style challenges locked by behind haphazard mini-games... Given the game is not flagged as Early Access, and is unlikely to reworked, I cannot recommend this one with the frustrations and bugs outweighing the content and the premise.

I want to start with saying this game has a lot of ''rape'' in it. For some people a kink, not for me. Why did i continue playing? Because I want to turn my account in a sort of “review account”. There's also consensual scenes so its not all forced. Good story(as weird as it sounds with all the “rape”) and good scenes. Personally for me a downvote because of the ''rape'', but I know some people have that kink and apart from it it’s a good game thats why I upvote it.
