Hey, I’m one of the three people who made Void Sails. We’re just a small team—no big studio backing us, just three devs trying to make something cool that we’d actually want to play.
This game has been a real passion project for us. It mixes ship combat with text based decision making. You’ll fight ships, upgrade your own, and try to survive in a universe where the mysterious inquisition is tightening its grip.
There’s also a lot of text-based stuff in here. Dialogue, choices, event prompts… we wanted to tell a story too, not just throw explosions at you.
It’s not a triple A game—we know that. But it’s got soul, and we’re proud of what we pulled off with such a tiny team. If you like games that are a little different, that mix action with story and atmosphere, maybe give it a shot.
And if you do play it—thank you. Seriously. Every person who picks this up means the world to us.

Threadbare stat system. Worldbuilding is barely explained. Ship handles like a drunken hippo. Only three distinct environments besides "generic ruins" and "generic asteroid field" (I will forgive this though since 3D modeling takes time and it's a small dev team). Devs engage in shameless self-promotion in the reviews (I will not forgive this).
The 2-3 hours it takes to finish this aren't remotely worth your time or money.

Feels like an asset flip. The voice acting is good, the writing is... ok. But you will not experience any of what made the Treasure Planet so interesting. The aether/space is just a cloudy skybox, the islands in it look like bits of playdough up close, the combat is sluggish and uninteresting, there is no save feature (autosaves only), map or propper inventory in the game despite you collecting items and exploring often.
the music you hear in the trailer is all you will hear for at least 30 minutes in the begining, on a short feeling loop, as you painfully slowly float through nothing to get to the next highlighted island.

Story is incredible. It keeps you hooked on and playing. Enjoying the dynamic mix of gameplay and the laser is really satisfying
