I'm actually manipulating my wife into becoming Ina. I convinced her to take art lessons and lied that her voice hurts my ears so she could speak more softly. I picked her on purpose because she was a petite Korean girl with a flat chest: the perfect candidate. Lately I have been playing sounds during her sleep and whispering "the cucumbers will kill you only the ancient ones can save you" on weekdays and on weekends, I read a book full of terrible puns I found on amazon and to my surprise it worked. She now hates cucumbers and has started developing a wit for puns. She isn't exactly sure what "the ancient ones" means but she'll know when I'm done brainwashing her. Soon I will start subtly changing my body language around her to reflect approval towards outfits Ina would wear and things Ina would say. I've also been keeping her on a strict diet which keeps her slim while allowing her to drink Dr.Pepper or as I call it around her "Dr Oopsie". By next year the project should be done and I will hand sew her a replica of Ina's debut outfit so that I will be the first man on earth to try Ina's back in real life. I will then gift her a crowbar so she can gently bonk me any time i sekuhara her in our home.

"If you quit while you suck you will suck forever." I am at a very low point confidence wise at this point. This being mental health month seems appropriate. My dream of helping people find their game with microreviews in Spanish has brough me great joy, but I cant seem to find who it will interest. I love what my literal dreams have inspired and it's only meant to help. Not really make anything out of it, I aint that guy. Yesterday was particularly tough, I was in a pretty bad headspace didnt even wanna game after 30+ years of loving this beautiful hobby, today I felt like gifting a good friend a copy and trying this game myself. Inbetween the clicking, Calliope said "If you quit while you suck you will suck forever." You're right. It aint time to quit yet. Thanks Holoidle.

I don't like giving negative reviews, especially for a project made by fans, but as a paid product, this shouldn't be sold. It is empty, shallow, and as dry as a bone. This game should be called "Hollow Live." The main gameplay consists of waiting for gacha cards to drop and assembling them in certain orders to create combos. That's pretty much it. The rest of the game is just waiting and clicking on upgrades 99% of the time once you find something that works. The only goal is to prestige and reach a higher level each time, without any real variation. The visuals are cute, and it's fun at first to see what references and jokes they turned into cards, but it's so monotonous that it quickly stops mattering. The "Tamagotchi" part is unrelated and serves no real purpose. You unlock some furnitures and occasionally play the equivalent of a flash minigame, but that's it. It feels like two separate projects that were vaguely tied together. The idol doesn't do anything, they don't live there, they don't talk, they don't interact with anything. If this is your first experience with idle games and you’re trying this one because you like Hololive, know that this is nowhere near how complex or "fun" idle games can be. Try Trimps. Try Cookie Clicker. Try IdleOn. Try Antimatter Dimensions, my all-time favorite. Try ANYTHING else to get an idea of what a good idle game can be.

If possible I'd give this a "Meh" rather than Negative Note I'm playing on launch day. Let's start with the positives - it's Hololive branded and they have a 2 by 3 grid to put Free Gacha obtained upgrades in. The quality of these upgrades differs dramatically, and some of the upgrades buff others depending on where they are on the grid. The upgrades themselves will be buffed if you get multiple copies in the Gacha. I like the Art - obviously, everyone who chooses to try this will like the references. Thus ends the positives. This is an idle game seemingly without any sort of Prestige mode. There's no hidden systems like Cookie Clicker, or complicated strats like the Runescape idle game. There are a very tiny amount of upgrades to automatically deal with the extra friction systems the game has - Troll turns up, click Troll to remove, now automated. Everything else is just the basic "Plus Income per Sec" at the core of every idle game. So, the exciting (and only) system is going to be using the Gacha upgrades - but you are going to get a random roll on getting one every 40 minutes (slightly faster if you maintain Idol happiness by tapping litter etc) - and early on many can be useless until you reach certain thresholds. So almost within an hour, you have effectively experienced everything this game currently has to offer, with the one interesting system having no way of shortening it's cooldown. So it feels like an idle game that's not really checked on this genre in 10+ years. Perhaps I've been spoilt by the incredible Holocure, but I was expecting this to at least match others in the genre (especially paid as it is compared to Holocure) and not really just be a shell apart from the Hololive branding. I'll keep an eye on it, and hope they add additional systems post-launch.

i don't talk to real girls anymore. why would i? marine houshou lets me pet her, shower her, and tuck her in like the loyal, hardworking neet i am. i give her headpats, she gives me validation. it's a fair trade. you can literally wash her. like full-on soap and water. marine says stuff like “thank you~” with that smug little face and i’m sitting here like bro. i haven’t felt this appreciated since my mom told me to get a job in 2019. putting her to sleep? yeah. she curls up in bed and says “oyasumi~” and i sit there in the dark like, “you too, captain…” while my screen glows with meaning. i haven’t slept in days but marine’s tucked in and that’s what matters. you can pet her and she reacts. that’s more emotional depth than half the people i know. anyway, 10/10. i don’t need therapy.

I really enjoy the collab system but there's a long way to go to make it balanced. It takes 1090 pulls to get foil on all 109 collabs, plus 25 fragments to max out holocoin production. Doing this many pulls would take 185 hours of just waiting for holocoins. I gave up on trying to wait and changed the time on my computer to get the daily log-in bonuses for the pulls. At least you don't get duplicates of collabs you have foil on. The designs of the collabs are extremely unbalanced too. Bau Bau, Smol Kronii, and collabs like them scale insanely well, increasing the multiplier based on owned assets is so broken. Even four star collabs like Spelling Bee and Marriage Certificate are quickly outmatched because they buff worse assets than Smol Kronii and they can't possibly hope to match the scaling. Also there is no collab that buffs Statue of a Dreamer, the most expensive asset, which makes it completely useless. There is way too much bloat and overlap in the collab system that makes end game grinding extremely tedious. Some ways to potentially improve the system could be, decreasing the amount of duplicates required for foils, giving more foils when doing an encore, increasing the rate of holocoin gain or adding more ways to get them, giving more unique effects to collabs, change collabs with multiple buffs to have a stronger singular buff, or removing collabs with effects that overlap with others.

It's a decent idling game but starting a new game overrides ALL PROGRESS, including card collabs and encore bonus. Which means there is no saved scaling available. So carefully choose who you want to play as.

A cookie clicker clone so not much to expect really. The neat thing about this game is that it has a card system to play around with for combos that increase your output by huge amounts, but falls short in how long it takes to get the in-game currency to actually use the gacha system. Its Tomodachi-style HoloSim mode also falls short of something good and really just feels unfinished and more so just there to fluff the game out. There just isn't much to do in it really. Mini games? No. Customization? Not really besides some basic choices for furniture. Neat idle time-waster to get when it's on sale or if you're a die hard Hololive fan. Overall it's a cute little game

I had a lot of fun with this at first. The cute art and hololive references kept me entertained for a bit, but now that I've spent some time away from the game I realised that I didn't really enjoy my time with it all that much. The ability to unlock new collab cards, which are the main way of making number go up, are locked behind a free gacha using holocoins which are gained at a rate of 1 every ~20 minutes (plus a daily login bonus). Obtaining 10 of one collab card turns it into a foil version, which has additional stat bonuses. However, there is currently no benefit to obtaining multiple copies of a card (i.e. copies 2-9) and it becomes frustrating to continually pull duplicates when there are other unique cards still yet to be unlocked. This is especially annoying in the late game when there are specific collabs needed to further boost influence per second and they simply refuse to show up in the gacha (looking at you harusaki nodoka). I believe there are plans to add a use for duplicate collabs in the future, so it will be nice to see how this is implemented. Additionally, the game has an achievement to unlock all upgrades that isn't obtainable without modifying the game files, because it would take some unimaginable number of years to reach the amount of influence required to buy the final upgrades. So that kinda sucks.

a very good base for an idle game but with issues such as rebirthing ("encores") being extremely unrewarding, HoloCoin gain rate being pretty slow (if you remember to clean/feed/pet/eepy your idol you get 3 coins per hour), collab balancing (there are only like 2 asset collabs that are even remotely worth it late game, being Bau Bau and Smol Kronii), weird collab tag buffs (there are a significant portion of collabs that exist solely to buff kiara cards for some reason), irritating collab pack RNG (you can be at 90/100 and still be missing like 5 of the cards needed for the best collab setups) and a rather useless collab dupe system (foiling cards takes actual eons and once you do have all cards foiled there is no reason to ever pull a pack again) being so prominent i cannot recommend picking up this game i am willing to edit this review from negative to positive if these issues get addressed in the future i will admit petting a tiny mori calliope is very fun though

I really wanted to like this, especially since I'm on an idle game phase right now, but unfortunately it's just not very well made. Let's get the good things out of the way: It's a very good-looking game that leverages its Hololive theme very well. It's got a cutesy interface that is easy to parse, and the main screen, which is meant to emulate a stream is spot-on. Its card system, the main source of late game power, is intriguing. It gives you boosts based on not only based on what cards you get, but the positions you put them in. This leads to some fun theorycrafting as you work out which Asset cards, which give bonuses to the buildings (here called Assets) that would work best with what you have and how to line up the best Directional cards, which give powerful and compounding boosts to Asset cards. The fun lies in getting the cards to line up in such a way that they give massive bonuses since they not only point in one direction, but give additional bonuses if they are pointed at cards with certain traits. Unfortunately, this is where the fun stops as well. Aside from the card system, the game doesn't have much to do. It has a raising sim which consist of a few activities and a cooking minigame, which gets you a bonus to the rate you gain Holocoins, which nets you a random card per crystal. It's admittedly cute, but becomes rote and repetitive very quickly. The game's main problem is that it is particularly stingy with the rate at which you gain cards. Your main way of get them is buying a random one at the shop, as a single draw or batches of ten. The rate at which you get Holocoins is already far too slow, but its made worse by the fact that the same sequence plays whether you're getting one card or ten. Since it's obnoxiously long, you often end up saving your coins for a big draw if you don't want to watch the same slow animation over and over again. Getting 10 of any card gets you a holographic version with a more powerful effect, as does prestiging. It's fine for a first few prestiges, but eventually you'll end up relying on the slow drip of cards and LOTS of waiting to make progress, doubly so if you're unlucky since the cards are randomly dealt. The number of cards needed to make a holographic is also far too high, and until you hit a wall, you're more likely to get a holographic version of any given card by prestiging than you would by gathering duplicates but you'll still find your progress clogged by too many duplicates anyways. This game seems like it's still being developed, so for now I'll say that the idea of a good game is there, but with some really rough edges. This isn't even talking about the occasional glitches the game gets. So as is, I cannot recomend this game, even if you're a Hololive fan.
