Do you like Satisfactory? Factorio? Pretty much any automation style game where you gather resources, send them on down the line to get processed again and again and again...and again? Then MineMogul is definitely for you! It honestly is a really good game and very addictive. The graphics are fine, nothing insanely special, but it's the gameplay that got me wrapped up. Trying to figure out my setup to get the in game achievements (not steam achievements for which there are sadly none as of yet) has been very interesting to figure out.
However that is also it's downfall. The cramped spaces can be VERY annoying to figure out how to run your lines and where to house everything. And if you are not someone who can figure out efficiency, the late game in this might be a bit much. I'm on the very last step of this game and have had to redo my entire setup twice to try to figure out how to become more efficient, and still failing miserably.
One other negative is that I beat 90% of this game in 2 days. And the last 10% has mainly been getting my setup ready and then waiting for the necessary amount of items to check off that particular item. Then change the setup and wait again. So the waiting can be painful at times.
Now there is an issue I found where if you overload the game with ore objects (basically all pieces of ore throughout the map) by setting up an auto miner and not connecting anything so it just outputs ore and doesn't go anywhere to be processed, the game becomes SUPER laggy and almost unplayable. THANKFULLY I did (after having over 6k objects unaccounted for!) find a button/link on the menu that clears all ore from the game except those in baskets and chests. That took care of my issues, even though it did clear out all of the ore from the game. Small price to pay for a normal functioning and non laggy game!
But all in all, this is still a good game that I have enjoyed thoroughly! Definitely recommend.

The game itself is good but limiting.
There isn't much room to build in the area with the only Deposit station. There's a lot of small tunnels to get ore from but it means you'll need to build even more complex solutions in a excessively small area next to the deposit station.
I think the games good but it's trying to be a bit like satisfactory without the extra space. When the maps made more accessible (there are more places to build but no deposits stations) I'll change my review. It's definitely a good idea just needs a few minor QoL tweaks.

I'm kind of indifferent about this game. I see people comparing it to this or that, but I think that it is kind of it's own thing thing. Personally, not for me. At this point.
1. Yes, I played the whole thing and have bought all of the awards except for the 10 million dollar one (which I am still playing and going to get).
2. I know that space (or lack there of) is a part of the game, but it really is tedious to either have only one conveyor in a shaft with lights or two without lights. I'm not going to crouch on a conveyor dodging tubes.
3. Adding to that, the copper nodes above and to the gold side of the main room are not a challenge. They're awful. Not much to add to that. Having to build your way out and then run all the way around and through a tiny crouch tunnel in order to get in there is ick.
4. Ending the game with 12 extra research points feels bad. I wish I could have used some to speed up a process or unlock a bigger/better machine that gives me a reason to tear it all down and rebuild it for some sort of gain.
5. The end game grind is super bland. Building on number 4, there's really no reason to use splitters or mergers. It all balances out, and all you are going to be making is polished iron and copper pipes, polished gold rods, and all the coal for the gem chances. Make sure to sort them too so that they can be polished for more money.
6. The Rapid Auto-Miner is awful. Hot garbage. Not even worth being in the game. It's worse than Biocoal. I do not recommend anyone babysit this thing and think that they are getting ahead. You deserve better than that. Put a drill bit magazine on it or something.
Overall, not the worst way that I could have spent 40 hours. I hope that they keep with this game. It would be nice to see another labor of love like Hydro come from this. If it sees a pretty good set of updates, I'll come back to it for sure.

Fun game for about five hours. Then you realize there's nothing different of importance to do, and nothing to look forward to. The reviewer who said this is his third favorite crafter/builder game after Satisfactory and Factorio must be on some really good happy juice. This game is small and cute. The length of a good demo. But it is light years from being comparable to those other two games. I have hundreds of hours into Satisfactory, BTW.

The playtime is not correct. Im at over 100 hours with demo time, beta time, and playtest time.
Mine Mogul is a refreshing new take on the automation and factory-building genre. Instead of relying on static conveyor belts and simple item transfers, the game leans heavily into physics-driven systems, adding an entire new realm of depth and creativity. Machines feel alive, resources move with weight and momentum, and every layout becomes a small engineering puzzle.
What really sets Mine Mogul apart is how its physics interact with classic automation mechanics. Even simple tasks like sorting or transporting materials feel dynamic and satisfying, giving the game a tactile quality most factory builders lack. The result is a gameplay loop that feels both familiar and surprisingly innovative.
If you’re looking for a factory builder with charm, challenge, and a refreshing new layer of physicality, Mine Mogul is absolutely worth your time.

So yes, I did refund the game FOR NOW! I think in its current state it's just a little too overwhelming and I feel like the guide for how things should be set up isn't there quite yet for each part and piece in the game. I understand its early but, I just wanna give feedback that will hopefully be heard. My final thing is I think for what it is, its just too expensive. I'd justify no more than $10 for what it is and then I would have kept it I think. Can't wait to see where this game may go and hopefully will be back in my library soon! :)

MineMogul is like Factorio and Satisfactory asked, “What if we removed all the space and gave everything physics?”
Resources don’t politely move on belts—they roll, pile up, jam, and occasionally stage a rock rebellion in the tightest part of your base. Every conveyor feels like solving a puzzle in a broom closet.
I’ve:
Created a perfect bottleneck with one slightly chonky rock
Watched ores roll backwards off a slope like they changed careers
Turned half my mine into accidental modern art
Despite that (or because of it), it’s incredibly satisfying when things finally flow smoothly. Progression is clear, the caves are fun to expand, and the physics give the game a really unique feel.
Early Access, but already absolutely worth it.

Top note, in the pause menu there is a turn off/on all miners and clear all ores ect buttons that i didn't see until now so thats a bonus.
Its a decent game but the main part of the game the belts/automation is kinda broken.
Splitters don't work properly ( sending this down 1 side instead of splitting ), items just get stuck on belts/corners,splitters and certain machines because of their hitboxes.
Through the time i have played i have spent maybe 40/45% just cleaning up/trying to fix blockages/spill over just because the design itself is flawed.
Yes the game is maybe worth the money if not compared to other games, but when you compare something like satisfactory that you can pick up for £15 it makes this seem like a £1/2 game.
Decent ish for now if it was not for the janky building pieces, but there is only maybe 4-5 hours of actual gameplay before its just a stand there and wait for things to craft sim.
I have explored and lit up all of the map, used every node and mined every ore.
