I have to say this is a surprisingly fun game, but it's not very realistic. For instance, where's the pushy neighbor who has the nerve to blow leaves off her property directly onto our property? Actually just stands there, directly pointing at our yard going "rrrrrrr" with her damn blower, blowing wafts of leaves at us. "Betsy Blower," I call her. And when confronted with it last weekend says, "Well, they're your leaves." Lady, these leaves aren't individually labelled, we live in a leafy suburb full of trees, and I don't control the wind. The wind takes the leaves where it wants to. Because, believe me, if I did control the wind your life would be a leafy nightmare. You would be finding leaves in your sock drawer, in your morning Cheerios, and in your dreams at night.
But anyway, this game is fun, and thankfully does not have any obnoxious neighbors. First you pick up the leaves, deposit them and collect money for your troubles, and upgrade your gloves with that money to pick up more leaves, faster. Then you can buy a rake, and upgrade that similarly. Finally you can buy that powerful instrument of good or evil, the leaf blower. The game seems to have Real Leaf Physics as they'll get stuck in every corner on your property when using the blower and you have to do some high level geometry on the spot to figure out how to blow them out of there. As you clean areas of the property you then get keys to unlock and clean others, or maybe you need to find a secret access door or ladder. You can jump on tables to blow the leaves off of them, or crouch down to blow those pesky underside ones. Cleaning these virtual leaves is actually way more compelling, amusing, and fun than you'd ever think it would be.
