Yeah the game's getting better. I also got a ban with no warning on their discord for making a joke about needing a Jule34 section (for an entire second, didn't say anything weird). The game is good, the community that's still left is abysmal to interact with and the devs are still as wishy-washy as ever about communicating anything. Even decided to leave a sarcastic remark about how understanding and friendly their community would be in their update for why the release was going to be delayed, then proceeded to delay the update about 6 hours to include the removal of duplicates that was promised near the beginning of the year.

Well here we go again - Yes its interesting gameplay, yet a bit more random cuz of getting random heated/cooled spots on your board, artwork is fine but it is yet again a P2W. She is super overpowered and easy to build, its like an upgraded version of the pyg that was combined with Vanessa and a bit of the spice with this heated/cooled mechanic.
Is it worth it - yes, but not with this price. Should you buy it - no, dont support those devs, you can read my overall review about what is happening with the game, how they changed monetization system 3 times in a row and ruined all their promises. This all looks like a final cash-grab with the content they created a year ago and promised to release it long time ago.
p.s. Just noticed that half of the reviews for this DLC are looking like payed ones with some "Food/Jules" related phrazes and hidden profiles -_-
As a paid character DLC, although Jules' strength has been weakened by a patch, it can still easily help players ascend to the legend with overwhelming numerical values and growth potential.
Therefore, this recommendation is limited to this DLC only.

At first glance, the dishes spoke to me in a creatively confusing way — one might say they awakened some deeply hidden buds of my taste buds, in the same bizarre spirit as “customer satisfaction” surveys. Sadly, the seasoning lacked any real consistency. Definitely an experience, yes — but there’s plenty of room left between “memorable” and “edible.” Also, I must say… I do miss a proper fond.
One of the more difficult characters to use, but once everything clicks shes probably the all around strongest character at the moment. Mak and Stelle were alot more straight forward in design. Mak is scaling DOTs and Stelle is flying focused. Jules does have that straight forward build path with tool spam, but the REAL OP build is utilizing the new Hot and Cold tiles to their fullest.
Another all around fun character. People say $20 is too much for a single character, but with every new character release we get a FREE battlepass, FREE cards for all the characters, new cosmetics to unlock, new encounters, and the usual changes to shift the meta. I think the Bazaar is more than fair with their pricing and pay model. Hearthstone would have offered all the above in loot boxes that require 100's of dollars and are NEEDED to even have a fair shot against other players. A one time purchase for 3 characters and the option of 3 more characters and their entire kit for $20 each is extremely fair.
Not trying to suck off a company, but people saying this game is too expensive have NEVER played the "F2P" titans on the market. They need money to make things, you don't want pay to win features, a compromise was made and its more in our favor.

It a toss up between Jules and Mak as my favorite heroes. With more item packs I think she could take over as my favorite. She's just got a lot of moving elements. Could be the most complex hero! Very fun.
Really fun hero, positioning is really important on this one, plus the randomness of the cold/heated spots makes it really fun and totally different on each run, you will have to think a lot about positioning compared to other heroes, and is really cool!
