FIRST OF ALL: IF YOU HAVE EPILEPSY DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!
This game use a lot Flashbangs and Overkill do not warn you for this when you buy Payday2 on Steam page or start the game. Apparently 1 dead customer does not matter for Overkill or for Steam. Because a dead customer is still a customer who paid for their product(s). What a shame!!! You can also not disable the flashbangs (without a mod). So the game is useless and dangerous for me.
READY FOR COLLEGE?
I am a huge Payday the Heist fan ( 5500 gameplay hours) and wow what a terrible game is Payday2. I did like the simplicity of Payday the heist, like set it and forget it with loadout. No, in Payday 2 you must first do a study on university before you understand the skillpoints and mods on weapons and how you manage your character with what loadout. If you have done that, then Overkill ask you to go to official website of Payday2 Community to get free stuff. Why not give it directly? Such a lame way.
CARRYBAG SIMULATOR RUINS THE FUN OF THE GAME
In every level you must drag money and goldbags to end level. In the beginning, it's fun, later it's annoying. repetitive and boring.
DLC,DLC, MORE DLC AND EMPTY WALLET.
You wanna feel like getting fooled. Buy Payday 2. Every month there will come new DLC, making you crazy that you must buy it!! A lot of levels are also copied from Payday the Heist. How Original. Why can Payday the Heist be a such good game with only 1 DLC? Also in the beginning this year there were also microtransactions in Payday2 (even in beginning of release Payday2 Overkill promised that they will not gonna do that), later because hate from community, Overkill removed the microtransactions.
MORE FANCY STUFF IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER.
You want more guns, buy Payday2.
You want more colored guns, buy Payday2.
You want less playing and look more to your masks and see how beautifull you are, buy Payday2
You want to make a lot wasted choices and waste time buy Payday2.
You want hardcore gameplay that does not need all those DLC and fancy bling bling stuff : Don't buy Payday2, go for Payday the Heist. When maxed out with skillpoints there is almost no challenge in Payday2. You are overpowered on Deathwish difficulty. Absolutely no balance in the game.
A mask or colored gun does not make a game better, it is only visual.......
All those options delay the gamespeed from game to game.
MY THOUGHTS
I tried the game 1,5 years ago, and didnt have a positive feeling about it.
Recently, somebody tried to convince me that there have been a lot of change in PD2. I tried to play it after 7 hours study today. I attempt to disable flashbangs because of the lack of warning for epileptic seizure as ingame or when you buy the game. There is a mod online to disable the flashbangs, then your screen turns black for several seconds.
I did hear also from some guys that they also got headache or tired eyes from the flashbangs and gameplaystyle.
So i played today several hours again Payday 2 and still dislike this game so much like 1,5 years ago that i will not recommend this game for you.
EXTRA INFO / THOUGHTS :
I hope that Overkill goes back to the roots of Payday the Heist while they are developing Payday3. Because a fashionshow (thats how i call it) is not really a cool thing in a bankrobber game. A fashionshow does not make you a better player. Also the Microtransactions or everymonth DLC policy is ridiculous. As long Overkill keep handle their every month DLC policy i will not buy any game from them anymore in the future. Be creative and start new projects that could also be a big successor in the future, instead use 1 product as a cashcow.

Secondly i want to put the Company Overkill software in a SPOTLIGHT!
The best Company there is they give so much feedback to the Fans.
They listen to the fans and they support groups and community A really BIG REP +.
They do great things for the games Free updates, go bank map, Halloween events weapons and mostly for free or a real acceptable price in the shop.
The are open minded and easy to access for asking questions and join games if they have time.
Ok back to payday 2
Payday 2 i have on the time of writing the recensie 653h so i think i can judge clear the game.
First time i played pd2 i was lucky to be in the Pre-Alpha fase,and the game feels right away great.
When the game was release and we all start playing i still enjoyed the game.
Its great to feel a badass and go in a bank with full loaded guns.
Blasting the cops away and play on the edge with your team.
1 mistake and the heist could fuck up easy,Be alert of cops who flank you,flashbang you and kill you.
Bulldozers charge in the bank with a great shotgun.
Other special forces as the Taser,Cloaker and the real Danger Sniper.
This game have it all and i forget almost the intense exciting Music when you are full focus shooting cops left and right.
Some points i really love to see in payday2 are
Old maps from the orginal game PDTH.
Epic maps as Heat-streat,First world bank,Green-bridge.
Less bags move arround would be cool.
And i really hope that there will be come 145 plus for the hard-core fans.

At one point, this was a game that I could spend countless hours on; completing heists all across the USA- however- albiet- the buildings look strangly... familiar despite it's location on the map. I tend no to think about it too much as I blow my load in the next person's mouth that simply gives me some 'tude, you know what I'm sayin'?
As much fun as I've had, and as smart as I have always thought myself and my cohorts to be, the biggest heist of our lives was not the large sum of cash crops from duffle bags of china white and filthy green, it was something more sinister. Something so insidious and sly with a wretched compassion that I find myself being slung around like cheap dope and filthy p*ssy on a casual tuesday night: it was the DLC.
Momenteel helemaal maar beperkt (5 miljoen licenties) gratis! Topgame, wees er dus vlug bij. Beetje de stoute beest uithangen met allerlei criminele activiteiten. Ben er wel slecht in maar heb wel lolz.
