When I bought this game I thought: Meh, within 6 month's this game isn't Alpha anymore. Damn, I was wrong! I own this game almost 2 years and it's still buggy and laggy as hell. This game will likely be finished somewhere in 2017 The developers earned their money already, actually, they have no reason to finish the game anymore. I wonder of this game ever gets out of the Alpha zone. Because of DayZ, I will never buy an Alpha-game anymore. Steam should forbid this, and atleast the game developers have to mention how long it takes to finish the game. I would never buy this If the DayZ store page would mention that the dev's will take 3 years to finish it. It was just a cheap trick to earn some money.

The past months I've been raging to friends who are raging about the bugs. Time after time I keep telling them it's Alpha, don't buy it if you wanna play a bugless game. And all the bugs I've encountered, I embraced with a hug of love. I've been killed by, I suppose a hacker as I stood inbetween 4 walls, killed by 3 shots, that person shooting 7 rounds. I've been playing 4 days straight gearing up a character to then see a server (with pers ON) stop - losing the character on any other server (with pers ON). Now yesterday I've been exploring the lands of unknown in the far north west of the map, me and my buddy were literally running for 2 hours straight, following a path, with only encountering 1 hous, which was some sort of bar, restaurant for locals. After these 2 hours, losing our energized and hydration and not having much food and drinks left (thank God for the rain) we decided to head back, as there is no end. I told him we should not follow the road back, but go to the east through the woods and see where we'll end up. After another journey of 2 hours we end up in a city without nameplates (I havent googled it yet, if that's a place the devs are busy finishing up), we managed to food ourselves as good as possible, and planned to keep running east. After 1 hour more it appeared we were at the end of the map as the road ended, and all life in the proces, with 1 more step to set. We had a laugh and a giggle, but had no idea on what place we were at, as apperantly our compass (pristine) had led us different ways as supposed to. We just searched what way to run best and went on another adventure on the map, running aprox 30 minutes thorugh the woods and it appeared we were, as we thought from 1 mile distance, at the tentbase from airport nw. We were stunned as we shouldve seen other cities in the process going there. Anyway, we decided to split up and approaching the tentbase from 2 sides, as there could be any of the other 23 online people scavanging there. The place was empty of people, but fully with gear, but was by no means the tentbase at the airport nw. A place we havent been at that point, so we started checking out the standalone map online. We picked a place which looked most likely, yet we were stunned how we could've ended up there and followed the road up untill we ended up in Vybor, where we met up with another ally of ours. With the 3 of us going to the airport nw, and us finally being in civilization, we managed to get our bags, if even possible, even more full with bullets. After a sweet in the tentbase and airport, having an AK74 with 230 bullets, 300 bullets, scope, some sort of handguard and 1 magazine (40rounds) for the m4, magnum with 90 bullets and a longhorn with again 120 bullets, 2 protector cases (1 8slot, 1 6slot), 3 morfines and last but not least, 1 filled bloodbag, we decided to log off in the woods nearby one of the jails. At that point we'd played more then 17 hours in that past 2 days. As I shot some zombies down with my AK, I wanted to fill it up again before logging off, so I sit down and take the magazine out, so I could eject the remaining bullets, to put 30 fresh ones in. I see that, while the magazine was in my bags, it was also still on my gun. I started to find this strange and decided to relog while sitting on the same place, as I've had this before and running off, while when I relogged I lost that particular item. When I came back after the relog, I was at Svetloyarsk, sea side equiping... A flashlight and a battery. Would do it all again.

Echt een must als je graag Zombie-apocalypse games speelt en wil overleven..zowel in first person of third!

Slechte, lelijke, buggy spelletje. Ik zou hem zeker kopen, als je geld over hebt en je wil het niet in de prullenbak dumpen. Koop dan gerust deze game en je hebt het zelfde effect. Oja dat laggy shizzle ligt toch niet aan het spel?? Nee maar er zijn ook alleen maar duitse pauper servers. Een normale goede server bestaat niet. Maar het spel is toch in de beta? Ja dat klopt, maar van een beta verwacht je, dat het een spel is dat bijna af is en niet zo verpauperd spelletje als deze. Ik twijfelde nog of de makers wel echt profs waren. Blijkbaar wel, maar niet bij dit spel in ieder geval. Ik geef dit spel 5/5 sterren voor weggooien van geld. Tip: my little pony is in de aanbieding. Scoort op alle fronten beter en kan je nog een paar euro knallers halen ook.

Heey all, Leuk spel als je het zo bekijkt. We hadden het gedownload en starten het spel op. Startup is vrij simpel en recht toe, recht aan. character maken en spelen maar. Zo ver zo goed. Eerste indruk : 8 punten voor het grafische deel van de omgeving. Moeie grafics. Alles ziet er netjes uit en vrij goed afgewerkt. Maar dan ga je spelen. tjonge.......zeg viel dat ff tegen voor ons. The character. 4 punten vanwege grafisch Het character is vrij houterig, beweging is niet echt vrij het is net een lat hout met een hoofd en armen. Wat ik dan wel waardeer is het feit dat je kunt pieken om hoekjes. Vechten is er raar gemaakt zeer omslachtig en lomp. Exploring the map. 4 punten omdat het er mooi uit ziet, maar het is erg saai Rondlopen op de map is echt saai. Het enige waar je echt wat kan doen is bij beschaving. Dus gebouwen en dorpjes. Verder kan je wat rondlopen in de bos en zo maar echt speciaal zou ik het niet noemen. Kom je zombies tegen denk je yes eindelijk actie. Nou de zombies zijn nog dommer dan zombies. Ze staan eerst half uur the zuchten blazen en weet ik wat, en dan enige wat ze doen is chargen op je af en zwaaien met de armen. Als je ergen achter gaat staan komen ze al bijna niet meer aan je. Als je direct naar de zombie toe gaat ( vooral in de rug )is die zo dood want eer ze reageren duurt wel ff. Spullen en items. 3 punten... het is the omslachtig Dit is super lastig in elkaar gezet. Je moet echt gaan uitzoeken hoe het werkt. Vooral in 3th person. Helf zie je niet eens direct liggen je moet echt heel goed kijken. Beste s dan ook gewoon een ruimte in gaan en je inventorie openen. aan de linker zijde zie je dan een venster open met alles wat in de buurt is. Dus als er iets ligt kan je het zo ook vinden. Het equipen van een item is ook er raar. Daarnaast als je hem in je hotbar hebt staat moet je goed oppassen dat je die niet snel verliest want je drop het zo. Er zijn geen tip of guide die je ff wegwijs maakt in het spel. Overall.. Rate ik dit spel tot een 4.5 Ik zou het spel niet kopen vooral niet voor de prijs die ze vragen. Misschien als het 5 euro is gewoon voor de heb. Gameplay is zeer ver achter als je ziet wat er allemaal te krijgen is deze tijd. Vind het ook jammer dat je zelf niks kan bouwen maar goed das eigen voorkeur. ( ik heb het niet over die tenten die je kan plaatsen). Ik zie mogelijkheden voor dit spel maar de maker zijn voor mijn gevoel nog ver weg voor de grote game markt. Jammer dat het zo verlopen is, ik had me verheugd op een leuk spel in deze setting maar het viel me echt zwaar tegen. Voor iedereen veel plezier als je het spel besluit te proberen. you spawn in the middle of nowhere,2 minutes later you are starving and you can't find food... stupid game!

Pathetic to a point I have started laughing at every fail. Let me give you two examples: (Update numbers are irrelevant; at least 2 months between every "update") Update 9: *devs show some epic drawn models* Update 10: *devs show another model* ~~8 months later Update 11: *add cars* Update 12: *make all cars broken; players first have to find parts to repair the cars* Update 13: *mess up something (no one knows what the fuck they did) to make all cars dissapear after a server restart, and make them explode randomly* (--> so basically renders cars extremely dangerous and useless) Update 14: *devs shows more models Update 15: *devs shows models of a motorcycle* Update 16: *devs acknowledge the problem with cars; will fix the problems* Update 17: *devs completely remove all cars in the game* Update 18: *add wolves to the game* WTF So at patch 18, we are back to the start of patch 1. Same happened with zombies. Zombies work --> Devs try to improve zombies and totally break them --> Zombies are fucked up --> Zombies get removed from the game --> You have a zombie game without zombies --> Zombies are added back in the game --> Devs update zombies --> Zombies are messed up again.

beste spel wat er bestaat , zonder twijfel ! er is nog heel veel werk aan , maar ze gaan de goede kant op. het enige negatieve aspect is dat ze er vrij weinig tijd in steken. mvg genesis3630

0.60 Sucks but Funny

After many patches and updates.This game is rubbish. I played this standalone from the beginning and i think it got worse from that point to now. Here is a small list of crap: -Cant hear gunshots!? -Zombies still bugged after 2 years (and currently removed from the game) -FPS is bad (-+15 in a city with my GTX970) -Gear spawns are weird and bugged -Desync -and lots and lots more The devs are just adding content and more crap. DONT BUY THIS GAME ITS NOT WORTH IT

Super spel niks op aan te merken alleen soms wat buggs wat irritant zijn en ja de bandits de mensen die je voor geen een reden dood schieten. Voor de rest hele leuke games :D
