I accidently started a holocaust and wiped out an entire alien planet. 10/10 would read the button description next time.
On a more serious note this game is awesome and challenging just how I like my strategy games :).

I Started playing this game with no intel on it. only the love for Paradox Games. and the few games i own.
I started playing, and i see a "Create Empire" button... Yes lets do this.
Now i have a Fox like human called... Foxes.
I'm 1.6H into the game. I now know how to travel... to the nearest stars.
I'm still learning the game. like all of use at this time.
the little bit i'm seeing and learning now really lets me enjoy the game this far.
10/10
Would take 1.6h again to create the Fox called Foxes.

I am 159 hours in, stil have to complete/win a game ^_^ High technical game much of ui screens and overwelming amounts of mechanics but love every bit of it. The dlc prices are kinda out there especialy when there is no sale but some of them do add a lot of new ways to play aswel. There also is an high amount of modders with all kinds of mods to again increase gameplay. Not a bad buy at all. +8 of 10

If you like Sci-Fi and/or strategy games in which you can colonize other planets and expand your empire very easily, this is for you. It is easy to learn and it is more advanced to master your playstyle. There are enough possibilities to paly the game different that it is very likely you can spend a lot of hours relatively quickly as newcomer. Roleply your ideal empire and have fun! I recommend to play this with friends, since it is very fun to communicate your strategies socially.

I have tried this game several times and every time i noticed this game is so enormous out of balance that you never can win a game without cheating.
Everytime when i finally got something good up so you can start building up an empire, pirates show up with always 5 times more power than the army you got.
I actually had put the game hidden because i was so fedup with this crappy game, untill a friend said buy some dlc and you probably like it, i felt kinda stupid after i had spend the money and tried ... yes ofcourse it was worse than before. The game have been updated and screwed up even more as it was.
I recommend stay away from this game and spend your money on a more fun one

I love Stellaris and like a lot about the 2.0 update as well. But currently there are just too many bugs and some features are questionable.
I won't name all the bugs as I've only played a single game with the new update and only to the midgame so far, but the first thing I noticed is that your ships lose all their experience when you upgrade them. And since you have to upgrade your ships a lot in Stellaris, the whole rank system is useless. Even though I fought a lot in this playthrough, my fleet has never passed the second rank.
I like the new war system but war exhaustion is just stupid. On my first war we (me and another empire in my federation) declared war on an enemy and even though we got their war exhaustion up to 100% while ours was less than 50%, the war just did not end until the attrition got our exhaustion up to 100% as well, then it was an instant white peace.
I couldn't even end the war myself because it was my AI buddy who started the war. It was the only war I fought but there was a purifier on the other side of the galaxy waging many wars and ALL their wars ended in white peace as well. This is the biggest and most annoying bug so far.
There is only really one feature I dislike so far, which is travel speed. It takes aaaaaages to travel now. They wanted to slow down the early game, well, now it takes your fleet literally years (in-game time) to get somewhere while it would only take a couple of months before. Very dumb.
When at least these above mentioned bugs are fixed I will change this to a thumbs up.
Edit: changed to thumbs up

Solsearching to the max.
Spel is een aanrader, vele uren speelplezier al.
