I played all the Souls games ALOT, i just did a refund for this game. Looks awesome, but the parrying and death mechanic is bad to say the least. Takes all the speed and fun out of the game.

I like this game because I hate myself and enjoy suffering. But also it's satisfying when you finally do something that you didn't initially think possible.

it's a noice game, worth the money, very difficult but that makes it fun. not recommended for people who are looking for a relaxing game cuz this shit straight up gonne want ypu brake your screen

This is a great game, many people say its very difficult. I maybe died ~12 times up until the final boss, at the time of writing this review i have spent the last 5 hours fighting him with no succes. So the death counter is now at around 70. Great game but the final boss is a massive cunt.

Deze game is echt geweldig. Ik kocht dit spel omdat ik een grote fan was van Dark souls 3, maar deze game is nog veel beter. De combat system is gewoon eerlijk en satisfying. Ik ging wel 30 keer dood bij de laatste boss. Maar het bleef toch leuk om hem steeds te bevechten ook al werd ik compleet neergemaakt. De game heeft maar weinig wapens en geen dingen die je laat maar zeggen aan kan doen. Maar dit maakt helemaal niks uit als je alle bekijkt welke shit je allemaal kan krijgen voor je robot arm, coole nieuwe vaardigheden en combat arts. Verder is het gewoon geweldig om alle gebieden te verkennen. De wereld heeft gewoon veel kleur in vergelijking tot dark souls. Zeker ook met de grappling hook is het een hele nieuwe ervaring. Het mooiste aan deze game is om te zien dat je het steeds beter kan. Alles gaat echt 10 keer makkelijker als je het een 2de keer speeld bijvoorbeeld. ik kan nu de grote ogre mini boss gewoon neermaken zonder dood te gaan. Ik ben laat maar zeggen wel 20 keer door hem achter elkaar neergemept. Echt top game zal zeker kopen als je de tijd hebt om het te leren want het is best wel moeilijk 10/10

I like it, yet i feel disappointment. I like the new approach, this is some real ninja stuff I always dreamt playing. Founthainhead Palace is one of the most stunning locations ever seen, although not a quarter as close to the stunningness of Anor Londo in DS1 & 3, but still... I started following From Software, from Demon Souls to DSI & II & II, till Bloodborne. So yes I am biased, but no, I did welcome the 'new' approach. And I 'got gud' and finished the Immortal Severance & Purification Ending. I have two BIG ISSUES with this game that truly standout: 1) NO REPLAY VALUE because there are no stat upgrades, no new weapons to try out, no new movesets to train with, etc, etc. new game+ became useless and too easy especially because the Prayer bead system was gone which in and of itself already was a lame system. 2) TERRIBLE WRITING, if you 'read' Dark Souls I & Bloodborne, you will know how bad this one gets. Just read your item descriptions, they blatanly tell you what they do, give me some backlore, make me feel engaged into the world... Even Dark Souls II made me feel more engaged in the world, and the level-design in DS2 constantly broke the believable continuity of the story, enough said... Yet if I hadn't played the Soulsborne universe before, this game would have amazed me a lot more, no doubt, and then I would play the Souls games afterwards, and realize again, how disappointing Sekiro actually is..It is not because it is different! It is because it lacks a finishing spice to some good cooking. or that cherry on a whipped-cream cupcake. I gave it a negative, although I do recommend this game. I give it a negative because I don't want to see From Software go down a linear, more commercial, tutorial-built-in Activision-accompanied, climable- white-painted ledge, non-replay-value-wise path. I don't need a new Dark Souls, I need something finished

Great game, but the camera is realy bad. I bought this because i'm a FromSoftware fan. But the camera is so bad, that i can not recommend this game.

In Dark Souls, the gods had gone mad. In Sekiro, it's the chickens.
