More or less everything about the entire game is great and enjoyable for me, besides the dogs. The dogs are a waste of development, absolute waste of time, a waste of space, and just calling it "an iconic addition" is the most lowly and pathetic excuse to bring these hellish demonic creatures to my screen. It anguishes me, taunts me, angers me to explore an area, trying to mind my own business with no intent to kill whatsoever, then a rabid fucking canine prances towards my ignorant being, tearing at my character and with it, my joy and solace in this game. There is nothing they bring to the table that makes the game exciting, nothing besides some dry fucking bones as loot, and nothing that makes them worthwhile fighting; just a tiny piece of shit creature that moves faster than anything mankind has ever calculated on the surface of earth; because to be frank, this is an otherwordly being sent from hell to haunt and harrass innocent players who were looking forward for a fun, but challenging experience. This is not a challenging experience. This is a both mentally and physically exhausting experience. Absolutely disgusting and vile, give us a tool that dismembers them and hangs them up as a ward against other dogs.
Elden Ring’s difficulty isn’t the problem.. its the console port.. no keyboard config changes without "you have to edit this and that in the ini files blablabla... it should be in from start... fps cap on 60, ive heard so much good about the game so when i sat down playing it i was actually alittle down, dont look all that great either just feel like a playstation game and then ported over and Done... like to pull up the map lets push G and to get to inventory push ESC.. to get out of menus lets put that on Q! so this expensive game is a no from me, but i will change my mini rant in 6 month and give it a go then, hope they have fixed it or modders gone crazy on the game
after 67.8 hours i finaly got every achievement i would have had over 100 hours if i had not used youtube.
very fun many things to do and very challenging, epic

It's in a broken state. Bugs and glitches, exploits and hackers, the multiplayer is busted and does not function 80% of the time with constant disconnects. Not very fun during bossfights if you are summoned or need a summon.
The balance is a joke, there are alot of exploits in this game that oneshot you or applies status effects without anything you can do about it.
In PvP oneshot builds are everywhere, no other way around it. Build meta or get rekt.
The is fantastic, but the technical issues, bugs and the devs being extremely slow to release patches has made this one of the worst Souls releases. You'll notice it the longer you play. The balance team was either ignored or fired during production.
When modders in Sekiro made a more stable multiplayer than From Software has done in this game you know something is wrong. Wait until they actually start to actively fix the game before buying it.
The game is good. The enviorments are well designed, it doesn't hold your hand, there is tons of secrets and unique bosses (although a lot of them reused). The game also has the biggest build variety in a From Software game since Dark Souls 2.
I will say that i prefer the more linear approach of the Dark Souls series, instead of repeating bosses many times over, but that is just me. I also think they threw game balancing out of the window for this one. You have sorcery who one shots even the hardest of bosses and bleed that absolutely wrecks everything. The bosses are not much better. You almost all of them has some kind of stun lock attack or grab attack that almost guarantees a one hit kill on you,
I personally prefer more fair, balanced experience in a 50ish hour package like Dark Souls, but i know many will disagree. As it stands, i will recommend this game for anyone who likes Open World games and doesn't get scared off by the difficulty due to the balance issues. As i have said you can be just as broken youself, but just keep in mind that there will be lots of WTF moments when a boss suddenly insta kills you with a simple 0,5 second wind up attack that stunlocks you to oblivion. If i had to give a score, even though i have not completed it, i would give it a 8,5/10.
The game is a must. get the dlc and get some randomizers and vola you have a new game. fun. love the bosses and the oppen world gimik so give the game a try.
