My favourite RPG so far, beating Icewind D.A.L.E, Neverwinter Nights and Baldur's Gate.
-Story-wise-
I'm so happy. It's very fulfilling, with enough choices, and very interesting and deep characters.
-Combat-wise-
Very interesting, much better than anything like it(Other Witcher-games, Dragon Age III). A Plethora of potions, talents and weapons just makes everything very enjoyable - There should be something for pretty much everyone here.
-Customization-
Your Geralt will probably not look like any other Geralt out there.His beard grows semi-realisticly, which is an achievement in and of itself.
-Length-
So far, I've put in around 200 hours and have not completed everything in the game - Just most things. Not EVERYTHING has felt unique but every central plot point is interesting and most side-quests are as well.
Honestly, I don't have a ton of things to complain about. Just very minor things (like the pathfinding while on a horse can be a bit of a hassle sometimes). Would recommend to any fan of fantasy or RPG games.
I haven't done a review of this game yet for some reason but I felt like doing one today. This game has basically changed my mind about the whole game industry and I can't thank CDPR enough for that. Of course they have been called out for making their employees work under sort of bad circumstances (Long working-hours and so on), which have affected my view of the company a bit. The thing is though that they are working to improve in this area which makes me sure of the fact that improvement is coming soon (Hopefully when Cyberpunk is done). Back to the review of the game, Witcher 3 is just pure awesomeness. Many have said it before, but this game is a masterpiece with so much going for it. The story is intriguing and exciting, with many awesome characters. I haven't played through the story but I'm far enough in to know that it's more amazing than any game I've ever played before. Geralt is voiced well and so are the rest of the characters. It is just so confusing to me how I can get this affected by a video game. One quest can make me think in so many different ways and the replay-value is there so often, that I sometimes reload old savepoints just to be able to play them in another way. The music, oh the music, it's just so relaxing and nerve wracking at the same time. The combat may not be the best I've ever experienced, but it feels polished and I like it a lot as well. My tip is though to download the "No fall damage mod", because (at least at the time of me installing the game) it is way too easy to die because of you falling just a small distance. That is in my opinion the only major flaw in the game.
Moreover, The card game Gwent, is one of the best minigames I've seen in a video game. I even bought real life Gwent-cards from a seller on Ebay, just because I enjoyed it that much. I recommend playing it, it's pretty addictive to be honest. There is just so much things to do in the game, and I plan to go to and investigate every question mark there is on the map. Even the smallest fight can make me excited to just grab the awesome loot that will follow. The side quests are better than many of other games' main quests, and they have changed my view of what side quests are and what I should expect in the future. Last but not least, CDPR makes me believe that there still are game developers who actually cares about their customer base. The fact that they believe that free DLC should be a norm, is just for that matter, amazing. The DLC's they have released is more than just DLC, Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone is basically two more games, which proves my point even more. So, CDPR, please, keep this kind of thinking and I will for sure support you in any way possible in the future.
It seriously is an over hyped shit game. You wanna spend 12 ours in a mid rpg to lead a fkn goat. Play then. The story is cheap and mostly perverted. If you are sick of that shit to don't bother.
Hello Team, Stasiu Warzawic speaking. I love this game becaue it makes me happy. Why? Because I'm Polish, and everyone knows that Poles love playing games. Especially Zydow simulator. I have played this game 300 timms! That's a lot of timms, let me tell you.
As for Geralt of Rivia, he is a wizard, and he loves shooting fire on zydow! It's so much fun to watch them burn, don't you agree?
Oh, and my favorite activiti? Well, that would have to be having sex with the local peasants. There's just something about their rough, calloused hands and sun-kissed skin that drives me wild. And don't even get me started on their unrefined accents. It's like music to my ears.
But, enough about me. Let's talk about my grammar. It's not very good, is it? But, that's okay. I'm not really one for grammar and punctuation. I prefer to just write whatever comes to mind, even if it doesn't make sense. It's more fun that way, don't you think?
