I didn't enjoy ESO during the beta, no sir! I did NOT but oh hell what the game has grown and changed. It feels like a good 'ol ES game like Oblivion or Morrowind!
Now you might wonder why I didn't like it during the beta? well it wasn't because of buggy gameplay mechanics that's for sure - that's the point with testing something during the beta, am I rite? :> It was because the world felt restrict. Now? It feels like the fences around the park has been removed.
Will you like it however? I don't know - should you try it in March? absolutely!
at first i felt like it was weird but when i had played it for a while i acually got in to the rythem of everything because it's not like any usuall MMO but it's acually fun when you get it i recommend it
very keen on reminding you to spend more money on it and still the lfg system for eu is broken so if you want to play with friends, youre shit out of luck.
This game Still does not do the elder scrolls title, justice. Zenimax studios are not as skilled as Bethesda.
i simply felt a lack of immersion due to graphics and gameplay still not being polished enough. Now dont get me wrong, they have made many improvements and im not saying it's not a game worth trying if you're REALLY interested.
But 90gb of content and yet the gameplay feels bland. i've only tested the sorcerer lightningbuild, and wow im disappointed at the Lack of abilities AND, Not being able to use my abilities out of combat unlike in skyrim where you can.
while all speccs together seem to have a sufficient amount of abilities, each specc individually does not. atleast not for the "storm calling" sorcerer specc. a tip look each class up before you buy the game.
There are still small invisible obstacles that prevents you from Easily taking shortcuts over fences, rocks etc.
you Can jump over those but your character hits the texture more often than not even tho it looks like you should've been able to get over.
On top of that i felt even more limited by not being able to dive under water. No Diving !
The cost of this game may not be such a big deal anymore. Especially if you buy it while it's on sale.
But the question is: Is it really worth the time to play? personally for me, it lacks too much awe/breathtaking quality of an elder scrolls game to spend 800 to 2000 hrs to complete depending on how much of the game you want to finish.
Don't start what you cannot finish.
and to Bethesda i only want to say: If you want something done right, then do it yourself.
