Played Smite in the beta and enjoyed it a lot. Stopped for some reason and forgot about it. Started playing LoL. Enjoyed that for a bit but got tired of it, especially because of the style and the way you move in that game. Now many months later I tried Smite again and I love it more than ever. The maps are nice, the gods are all very interesting and even items are great. Smite's different game modes are also really interesting and since they are all different you will always have something to do and won't get bored easily. But the most important part for me is the movement. Smite uses a third person perspective like you see in third person shooters and WASD for moving around. That's a huge deal for me since I'm mainly playing first and third person shooters. This makes split second plays in the style of these shooters possible in Smite and therefore spares me of all the frustration I had in LoL. Oh, and all shots are skill shots which is fantastic. Smite is good for those of you who like MOBAs but want something a little different, but it's also great for people like me who just couldn't get into the style of other games of this genre. Definitely recommend.
