Shooting aliens, getting new loot and zooming around is fun, but the game isn't perfect. The reward system needs some work all around, PvP seems to have loads of issues when the sandboxes are shared and the cosmetic loot has mostly moved behind a paywall. Interested to see where this game goes though and I'd recommend everyone to give Destiny a go. It might be something you enjoy for hundreds if not thousands of hours.
