Let me be clear: this game could’ve been amazing. The gameplay had potential, cool characters, fast-paced action, superhero vibes, but all of that potential gets absolutely obliterated by how painfully broken and disrespectful the experience is. 💀 THE MATCHMAKING IS UNFORGIVABLE. This is the #1 reason I uninstalled. The matchmaking system feels like it was coded by Loki during one of his trolling phases. You either get:

• Thrown into lobbies with top-tier players while your teammates are AI-level clueless, or
• Put in with a bunch of underleveled newbies against premades who clearly play this game 12 hours a day.

No visible ranking. No role queue. No sense of skill balance. It doesn't care if you're solo queue or with friends, you will suffer either way. Every single match turns into a one-sided stomp. You're either the hammer or the nail, never equals. It’s not competitive. It’s not fun. It’s exhausting. Want to improve? Good luck, the game won’t give you fair matches to grow in. Want to play casually? Enjoy being steamrolled 5 games in a row. It’s actually mind-blowing how this made it out of closed testing. Did no one raise a red flag? Or did they just ignore it because hey, gotta meet those quarterly revenue goals? 🐞 The game is bugged and runs like hot garbage. And I mean constantly.

• Stuttering during fights, even on high-end rigs.
• FPS is wildly inconsistent, jumping from 120 to 40 with no warning.
• Sometimes the game just microfreezes in combat — say goodbye to aiming your ult.
• Hitboxes disappear, enemies teleport, abilities go off into the void.

💸 The “events” are just cash grabs with zero soul. The game throws “limited-time events” at you every other day. Not to improve anything, just to sell more overpriced, low-effort skins.

• New skin drops? $15.
• “Exclusive” event? Grind for hours or swipe your credit card.
• Actual game improvements or balance patches? Nowhere to be found.

And let’s be honest: most of the skins are just recolors with particle effects slapped on. It’s like NetEase went, “Western fans love Marvel, right? Let’s milk them.” This whole system was built not to respect players, but to arm wallets. 🚫 Censorship is ridiculous and insulting. Type “Free Taiwan” = Censored. Type “Winnie the Pooh” = Censored. Say anything remotely political = Filtered or shadow-muted. What’s worse, early on, content creators were literally told not to post anything negative. That’s not a rumor, they actually tried to silence criticism in their contracts until public backlash forced an apology. You can’t say “Taiwan” in a Marvel game. Think about that. This is what happens when you mix Western IP with authoritarian-backed publishing. Marvel Rivals could’ve been something special, but instead, it’s a rushed, buggy, money-hungry, censored mess of a game. WATCH OUT FOR WINNIE THE POOH ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

I feel like shit anytime i go in quick play wanting to have fun w spiderman because i suck even if i practice daily. My team has to suffer because of me. That's awesome (not awesome). Also the mods are insane.

Personally, I really like the game, but the battle pass should also implement a function where you can earn xp from matches so you don't have to wait for missions to take too long.
