Negative review before playing the game
This review was written 2 weeks ago, right after reading Jason Schreier's article - "Why ‘Silksong’ Took Seven Years to Make."
To be honest, I didn't find any valid answer there to the question "what's the problem with writing updates more often than once every 2 years?" We learned that they had enough money to not rush anywhere. We learned that they were having fun, that they couldn't stop making their dream game. We learned that they don't read comments or watch videos (yeah, in 7 years) and it seems they didn't understand how much people are waiting for the game.
“We felt like continued updates were just going to sour people on the whole thing,” Gibson said.
Silksong isn't even out yet, and they already have a huge active silksane subreddit with 200k people. A YouTube channel literally dedicated to counting down the days to release, with over 200k people, the fact that their game is the most anticipated on Steam, the fact that videos with any information get hundreds of thousands of views and they don't understand how much we were waiting for the game?!
All these trailers, release dates, silence for years, cake, random 3 second reminders, the Deadpool incident and a bunch of other things. And then we get these responses and it just makes me realize that:
Team Cherry really cares about their game and I think the Silksong will be insane.
Team Cherry really doesn't care about community and fans.

Игра со старта шокирует своей хардкорностью. Первое испытание было настолько сложным, что я уже было подумала отложить это дело до лучших времен, но вдруг у меня на экране появилась надпись «оплата прошла успешно» и я поняла, что победила.
Наконец-то зайдя в игру я подумала, что оказалась в раю, мои глаза начали слезиться от счастья а душа воспарила в экстазе. К сожалению или к счастью, это всё было реальностью, но убедилась я в этом только тогда, когда вспомнила, что завтра рано вставать на работу и мне пришлось отложить игру в сторону…
В общем, игра не стоит своих денег, ведь она просто бесценна и всех денег мира не хватит, чтобы по достоинству ее оценить.
Однозначно рекомендую к прохождению 👍

Очікування того вартувало, правда Хорнет так стоне шо пNздA, реально неприємненько, але відключати це не буду! >_<
