I started the game again after a few years break and unfortunately I'm giving up after 3700 hours of play. I'd like to hang around in Maple forever but it's too P2W heavy. And even then, the chances of perfecting your armor/weapons are small.
Absolute NoGos for me that need to be improved:
- Different monster spawn rates for paying and non-paying players with payable totems. An impudence!
- If you spend hundreds of euros on cubes, you should think that you will end up with a higher damage range, not smaller ones - this is basically gambling and should be banned. It has already been declared illegal in other games.
-The same applies to the whole 30% Starforce events, etc. - For example, I've collected Mesos for months and then spent 40 billion at a Starforce event to improve items. The result was 5 destroyed items, 2 million less damage range and my 40 billion was gone.
Please tell me how not to feel betrayed and robbed?

Dont download that game - the company only wants to milk you and does not care at all if the game is enjoyable or not.
Might as well get a rebrand from MMO to Time-gated Gacha Game with monthly subscription.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME.
Unfassbar schlecht gealtertes Spiel... Unübersichtlich & unverständlich. Macht leider keinen Spaß. Außerdem crasht das Spiel beim Schließen... Direkt wieder deinstalliert...
Nostalgie pur. Maplestory war mein erstes MMORPG. Es ist schön zu sehen, dass das Spiel immer noch aktiv gespielt wird und auch mir noch immer Spaß macht.
Für Neuanfänger die das Spiel vorher noch nie gespielt haben bestimmt ein wenig komplizierter für den Einstieg, aber sobald man alles versteht macht es unglaublich Spaß! :)

Maple was a nice and fun to play game untill i got a ban. I was playing maple while whatching a movie on pc via media player and BAM I got a message that a hack where detected. OK I just thought it was a crash or something, came back in to the game, typed in my password and BAM your account has been baned. So I contacted the support and there was no proof about what was the hack which was deteced, they just said I was hacking and thats all. And also they've baned me from the forum because I was trying to talk about it with other people which had a fimilar situation. Wow who ever wants to end up like me after putting several houndrets of cash into their a...es then go for it. Nexon is the worst publisher I ever met in my whole live. I also got baned by other publisher while in a tutorial because I droped through the floor but after contacting them I got disbaned but Nexon is just a (insert your word here). So many hours of working, and everything for nothing.
Nexon is just bad and also almost every game by Nexon is made fully p2w. PS: Sry for my bad english knowledge if you find any misspelling words then grab a cookie and eat it.
Wow am getting an error 11001 no host is know or something. This crap is known since 2013. Wow Nexon is even worse than I thought... Failxon uninstalled that piece of ... game
